Even better, aim for 3-3-3. "Bustin advocates the “6-6-6” rule of PowerPoint: Use no more than six words per bullet point, use no more than six bullet points per slide, and don’t spend longer than six minutes on any slide."
Communications consultant Steve Bustin outlines the secrets of an effective presentation and suggests creative ways to grab your audience’s attention and bring data to life.

"Senior lawyers ... devote much of their energy to winning new work (usually the chief reason they get promoted) and acting as wise counselors to their clients. With machines digesting legal documents and suggesting courses of action and arguments, senior lawyers will have more capacity to do the rest of their job well. The same is true for many other professionals, such as senior accountants, architects, investment bankers, and consultants."

Useful Outlook tips.
As useful as it is to learn new techniques for increasing your productivity like using tasks and categories to organize your matter workload or make delegating easier, sometimes it's the little things — features you might not even think to look for — that can make otherwise mundane tasks much easier.

Story
Introduction
I'm a chartered accountant working at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (previously known as the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia).

My interest in exploring how accountants can use social media led me to Google+ in 2011. I'm interested in how accountants can be better professionals, business leaders, employers, marketers, client relationship managers and trusted advisers, and so I regularly post links to these topics, and to others that help me make sense of being an accountant in the second decade of the 21st century. Your comments, encouragement and opinions are always welcome.
