There was a small element of risk involved with this shot that involved 3 separate water fountains operating on a timer, if I got it wrong, then as the fountains turned off, all objects in the path would be drenched, even though in this dynamic shot, the water pressure was keeping the jets arcing overhead. Nevertheless the ground was very wet...

My first visit to LA many years ago was was not friendly, full of grey smog, rip off taxi drivers, overall not a place I would like to visit. Earlier this year on holiday I experienced a different view of LA, clear skies, UBER. This view is from up high at the Griffith Observatory towards downtown LA. Very nice
