Yep. Making this tonight for sure!!

(New Post) This White Chicken Enchilada Casserole (a.k.a. "Stacked" White Chicken Enchiladas) is simple to make, full of a cheesy chicken and white bean filling, and made with a lighter cream sauce. It's the perfect meal to serve to a group or prepare ahead of time for a weeknight dinner!

New quality score info and insights. Good read.
By now, you’ve probably seen (or at least heard about) Google’s recent video and new white paper about Quality Score in AdWords. In fact, when I first heard about the updated Hal Varian video, I was a bit surprised, given that Google hasn’t bothered to update it for about five years! Whenever Google officially communicates […]

Cool concept here. As +Chris Butterworth discussed yesterday though, there are still some questions about the accuracy.

Is this the article that inspired you to check this idea out +Chris Butterworth or did you just have the same inkling?

Just the same thinking. This article makes me more skeptical. It seems like all sites have the same interest groups. I can't with certainty use the data to back up my great idea for a technophile restaurateur that want's advice for decorating her home.

I like the idea of being able to make recommendations for content that are based on solid data and can meet business objectives.

Must Read of the Day - 28/07/2014
http://moz.com/blog/broken-art-of-blogging

It's only Monday and I already think I have found my read of the week from +Dan Shure on the +Moz blog!

So much good stuff to take away from this post including;
"Unused content is dangerous" - disposable, unloved content written for the sake of "freshness" could do more harm than good
► Base your blogging success on the right (engagement) metrics, not simply vanity metrics
► The reason for a blog should be to attract leads - but not likely on the first touch. Lead generation comes from consistently bringing awesome to the table, building a reputation and being at the forefront when required
► Leaving a comment suggests "I like what/how you write, I will remember you, I will be back"
► Blogging is not right for every company, especially if you are not prepared to bring your A game each time!

There are lots of great nuggets of insight and recommendations to consider (which I won't go into here) all supported with examples. I highly recommend adding this to your weekend reading! Nice job Dan!

One more thing:
While "comments per post" is a better success metric, you should also be taking note of time-on-page, scroll rate, pages-per-visit, CTA clicks and ultimately "leads per post" as key metrics.
Company blogging is broken. We're tricking ourselves into believing they're successful while ignoring the one sigal we have that tells us whether they're actually working.

Digital Marketing Tragic
Introduction
As Head of ROI at Reload Media, I get to play with some of Australia's leading brands every day. My main role is to ensure that our clients are hitting both internal and external KPIs - and I love every minute of it!

I also head up the PPC and Social teams at Reload which puts me in the unique position to tackle social media  strategy from data focussed point of view and PPC/SEO strategy from a social perspective.

This is exceptionally important when building traction for quality content pieces and for developing ongoing drip marketing campaigns.

In my personal life, here are some things I love: My Wife, My Family, My Friends, Digital Marketing, Home Theatres, Gadgets, Gizmos, Board Games, Playing and Making Music, TV Show 'Binges', Mexican Food, Touch Footy, Rugby League, Cricket, Geeky T-Shirts, 80's Movies, Disaster/Large Deadly Animal Movies and My Wife's Cooking!

Enough about me though, what about you?! Circle me if you want to geek out about all things digital!

This is my local. Pizza Capers Enoggera (and all other from experience) have insanely good customer service and their pizzas are always consistently brilliant, well made, and delicious. Try 'The Tank'. You can only get it at this Pizza Capers and you'll never look back!!!

The milkshakes here are insanely good. The food is ok but it's the milkshakes that really brought me to the yard.

My local. Always there for me during the cricket season. Not really up to the standard of most other KFCs though. It's always hit and miss in terms of quality.
