Hello! I am the channel moderator. Twice per day I review all posts the Google algorithm has flagged as inappropriate, spam or questionable content. This had once been a fairly routine and mundane task but recently the level of pornography, explicit (non-artistic) content, spam, inappropriate and just plain obnoxious content has risen dramatically. What used to be a 10 minute task has become one hour or more due to the sheer number of entries. And some legitimate entries get stuck in the spam filter and I have no way of "unsticking" them. They eventually post (I hope).

I have no idea why this is happening more and more. I am familiar with many of your names and apologize if your images don't appear right away.

This is nuts! We are journalists and our rights should not be trampled by big energy!

Columbia River, Oregon, USA

Compressed view looking across the Columbia River just above The Dallas, Oregon. Shot with a Sony 90mm lens (sharp!) on an infrared-modified Sony A7M2 camera. The hills on the Washington side of the river appear as 'splotches'. The white areas are vegetation, the dark bare earth or rock. Although water usually appears as black under infrared light the turbulence at the dam is probably due to some light refraction phenomena and makes the millions of water droplets glow white.

Vineyard entrance in Napa Valley, California USA after the fall harvest. All leaves have dropped now and only bare or newly planted vines are visible. The trees have finally dropped all leaves although they will start returning in a couple of weeks.

Sony A7M2, modified 720nm IR sensor, Zeiss 35mm 2.8 ZA lens, 1/200 @ f/5.0, ISO 100. Infrared, slightly cropped, processed in Lightroom (basic developing) and Photoshop (channel swaps), converted to BW in Silver Efex Pro 2.

Thanks for the invite to this group +Graham Hunt! I like what I see so far! Some nice work here.

Here is a shot I captured while traveling the hills around Livermore/Altamont Pass while working on some windmill shots. When I saw this scene all I could think of was some scenes from the Lord of the Rings series.

Bright fully overcast day, Sony A7RM2, 70-200mm Sony G lens, standard RAW compression, processed through Lightroom, Photoshop and Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 for effect.
