Oh yes! So it's that time of year! Snowboarding time!!

I'm off to Tirol, Austria to take on the challenge snowboarding, fat biking, tobogganing and a shot or two of schnapps (also looking forward to drinking Almdudler!)!

Come along for the ride!

It's that time of the year again where we dig out those winter clothes, ski gloves, hats, scarves and leggings and head to the mountains for a bit of snow

I set goals for 2015, but how many did I actually hit?

It was a busy and pretty successful year!

Loved fat biking yesterday, so much fun riding in the snow!

Have you tried it?

If you don't ski it's great option too!

Quite a personal post today!

All about battling with blushing, social anxiety and how sometimes exposure is the best therapy... For me that was travel.

Sharks are just misunderstood
In an entire year there were only 14 incidents with sharks on Australian beaches (and the term "shark attack" is used for any contact with a shark, no matter how minor), and just one death. Yes, that death is tragic.
But the lives of sharks are vital to ocean ecosystems.
Thousands of Australians die or are seriously injured every year at Australian beaches due to drowning, but we're not going all out and fear-mongering about that.

Protect sharks. Learn to respect them. Learn to share the waters safely. And don't be a fool and dress up like a seal and go paddling out into deep waters. And most of all - don't set out baited drum lines that draw sharks in towards the beach.

A spate of attacks has prompted authorities down under to protect the beaches — and entrepreneurs are coming up with innovative solutions

Chi is not a bad restaurant with some Asian fusion type food. I often visit for lunch on a week day and it can get quite busy so book ahead.
