U.S. believers see this as both a humanitarian crisis and a missions opportunity. Here is their reasoning:
The Syrian refugee crisis is both a humanitarian disaster and, for thousands of U.S. Christians, a mission opportunity. These believers, many of them Republican-leaning, are calling for the U.S. to

Interesting look at Carson's conversion and current practice
Ben Carson attempted to stab a close friend at the age of 14. He has told the story many times. He was living in a run-down home in Detroit with his older brother and single mom. His father was

'As a mother and grandmother, I find this footage of Planned Parenthood’s role in the harvesting of the organs of unborn babies morally reprehensible and vile.'
A group of Republican senators, led by Iowa's Joni Ernst, introduced legislation Tuesday to strip Planned Parenthood Federation of America of the more than $500 million of taxpayer money that it recei

The Road to Mt Cook || New Zealand

With landscape photography, sometimes the road can be just as interesting as the destination. and this particular route on the way to Mt Cook is a beautiful example of this.

While we were filming Photographing The World, we spent nearly an entire month driving around the South Island of New Zealand looking for different places to teach unique lessons about landscape photography. Here, I had a fun idea to incorporate light trails into the scene to help accentuate the awesome curves in the road. The only issue was that there was no traffic at that time of night!

What was the solution? Have Lee and Patrick drive up and down the road as I capture multiple exposures of light trails. ;)

The American Civil Liberties Union has formally reversed its support for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, signaling that the organization is no longer interested in mounting an ideologically consistent defense of all people of faith. It’s a disappointing retreat on principles for the ACLU, and the organization’s explanation suggests that a singular disdain for Christian belief is the reason.

The nicest restaurant in Luray. They make a good Manhattan and can cook a decent entree. Impressive setting too, at the Mimslyn Inn.

Christa is a gracious and hospitable host at a lovely, secluded bed and breakfast with a gorgeous view of the mountains around the Shenandoah Valley. My wife and I stayed in the Queen’s Suite for our honeymoon recently and could not have been more pleased with our stay. Well-decorated and spacious, with a comfortable common area. The outdoor hot tub was a plus. And only 15 minutes or so from Luray, a cute small town that we enjoyed exploring. We would recommend Once Upon A Mountain to any of our friends.

My wife and I ate here as soon as we arrived in Luray and liked it so much that we went back for lunch again the next day. Sandwiches, soups and salads were all tasty, and the German chocolate pie hit the spot. You can buy beer and wine here, though it's not open late. Highly recommend.

Tasty small plates and a great atmosphere, although it's loud early in the evening. The crab cake special on Saturday was my favorite.
