Proof that engineers are not purely functional? Looks legit.

You can now run queries against HTML/CSS/JS responses of top 300K sites: http://bit.ly/1FRzpaz ... from the comfort of your browser! Hooray for BigQuery.

P.S. Have an interesting query/result? Share it on bigqueri.es!

ES6 Object Literal Extensions in Chrome: shorthand properties & methods will save keystrokes! In Firefox 35 & IE (Tech Preview) too.

Nice overview of the various webperf API's... Goal for 2015: ship Resource Hints, Preload, Navigation Error Logging, Frame Timing, plus various other improvements to existing API's.. it'll be a busy year!
Generally, I prefer to mention the bad news first: Slow websites will always exist. Websites will continue to become more complex and bigger. Our demand for speed and patience will certainly not decline. These facts shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who cares about web performance.

Preview of ES6 Classes in Chrome. Syntactical sugar over today’s objects and prototypes. Cleaner syntax:

Traceur and 6to5 support minimal ES6 classes, https://6to5.github.io/features.html#classes-1 & https://github.com/esnext/es6-class compiles them down to ES5 too

Note: the native implementation is still super early and your best option is to use a transpiler until this actually ships in a stable release :)

Introduction
Front-end engineer, internet addicted, open software supporter, web browser games player.

I love everything tech related, like to be informed on what's happening new in the world and work with latest front-end technologies.

Obviously, my opinions are my own and have nothing to do with my employer.

Good coffee, good food, as desert you should definitely try cheese dumplings. Take in consideration that your order may take a while if it's full.

I love this place they have a lot of different beer, also good food. Service depends on the person, sometimes is excellent, sometimes is pretty bad.
