There's a ton... your actually better off with one of the larger aggregator services... namely, GOOGLE.

The New news.google.com has incredible features, allowing you to create your own shareable sections that are defined by whatever search filters you can dream up.

Here's mine for your "Welfare Issues in UK":
https://news.google.com/news/section?pz=1&cf=all&ned=uk&hl=en&csid=159a7e809b79153a&siidp=3f98dce84bd950a28b3bae8f960a1e9a83fd&ict=ln

To recreate your own, use a search query in the form of "homeless" OR "child poverty"
Then look for

Add "homeless OR "child poverty" section to my Google News homepage.

Then, look to the left panel side...and right panel side for Edit options or Gear icons to adjust or tweak your news search settings for that section.

So I notice your latest Google Plus update appears alongside any emails you send to recipients using Gmail - worth remembering.

Really? Blimey. I should probably think of something intelligent to say.

not sure where to comment on this. got your file for alternatives to google reader.
major column missing: if accessible on tablets, such as Nook, kindle, ipad. you said mobile for some, but it's too vague, as some yu can access through kindle for instance, but not through Nook, some both, etc
and you did not even list Bloglovin!
as a book blogger those are 2 major elements. most of my book bloggers connections, of which I have several hundreds, have migrated from google reader to bloglovin, and lots of us access their Reader on a tablet.
knowing if I can access a reader on both desktop AND (which) tablet is essential for me.
among the features, you could also include things like for instance: search capability or not. with google reader, I was able to do an easy word search among all the posts of my feeds. i cannot on bloglovin. some other RSS feed reader can.
