Videogame re-releases are not an uncommon thing, especially early in a new console's life cycle. They help boost a fledgling system's software library and make older games available to new players. That last bit is important, because most game systems are not backwards compatible. Re-releases preserve games and keep them alive for existing fans and new generations of players. Halo: The...

Last month we reviewed a custom Xbox One controller from UK-based service Controller Modz. That service offers a variety of sexy hydro-dipped artwork and chrome designs for Xbox One controllers, but nothing in the way of solid colors. For a controller customized with solid colors, we looked to ColorWare – located in Minnesota and recommended by some of our readers. ColorWare allows...

@John Thomas I mention the tablet name in my videos so that people won't have to ask... ;-)

Check this game out! I need Google+ friends for multiplayer missions.

Thanks Jon. I haven't been actively playing, but I still love the game and would enjoy returning to it. That said, the Fireteam missions have never worked for me, and I'm not sure the developer is doing anything to fix the issue.

Is the letter W pronounced as an R sound in some countries? That's a lot of mispronunciation of such an important name for the video.

I believe a couple of British accents tend to insert R in all kinds of places, even when it doesn't make sense.

All retail Xbox One games enjoy simultaneous downloadable releases, allowing gamers to choose between physical or digital copies of their favorite games. On Xbox 360 though, "Games on Demand" downloadable releases are far from ubiquitous and often arrive several months after the same games launch at retail. Even less common, sometimes an Xbox 360 game that originated at retail in one...

Shredder's voice is just awful in this and greatly limits my enjoyment of the sketch.

That second boss fight looks awful. I hope the devs balance it out before release.

Well I must admit that I actually thought it looked really fun (Shadow of the Colossus being either my 1st or 2nd favorite game of all time). But I played the online game that this is based on and I lost interest pretty quick (but then I was very tired at the time) :P

Don't forget that Decap Attack is a weird reskinning/westernization of a Japanese game, Magical Hat no Buttobi Tabo! Daibōken. Check out the Hardcore Gamer 101 article on it to learn about the many changes to the characters and story.

Great podcast as always.

This was much harder than it looked in your video. Squeezing the mic parts together and getting the bolt to thread into the mic was a pain, especially when the gray plastic washer that goes flush against the side of the mic (not shown in the video) kept falling off. Appreciate the guide though.
