Took me quite awhile to get a hold of my brokerage firm. They are indeed busy today. LOL. I didn't know till well after it happened about the big Dow drop.
Investors are reporting problems accessing their online accounts and completing trades through TD Ameritrade amid a feverish selloff in the market.

Disappointing, but possibly a problem coming from other city systems as well I would think.

Education experts said the city must better prepare kids for college.

“Clearly, grads continue not to be college-ready,” Brooklyn College and The Graduate Center, CUNY professor David Bloomfield said.

“In theory that’s what all this new testing and curriculum is supposed to ensure, but the promises of the #CommonCore have not been realized. It will be a long road.”

by Aaron Short in New York Post http://bit.ly/1HF34s4
New York City high school graduates who enroll at CUNY often aren’t ready for college, according to data showing the rising number of freshmen in need of remedial help. An astonishing 78.3 percent ...

Don't mess with my coffee!!!! Fix this world leaders. I need my coffee. LOL. You guys can mess up a lot, but this is serious business.
Drought, flooding, disease - climate change is already threatening the source of our caffeine fix. Are we facing the end of coffee as we know it, asks David Robson.

Been reading and studying the life of Dr. King of late and Malcolm X, and am going through some of their messages. The message of Dr. King and his method and message so blesses my soul. Yet, I respect both of their service in a time of change in the 60's, which is still in many ways still going on today.

This message on " But If Not " truly teaches you the difference between faith based on " if " versus one that says " through ". Its an excellent sermon.

Story
Introduction
Grew up in Nebraska then later moved to Illinois. The last two years of High School I spent in Great Bend, Kansas. Went to college in Houston, Texas then later later lived in CT., Texas and Nebraska. I also have continued my education through Catholic Distance University,  Alpha Bible College and hold an Honorary Doctorate from Trinity College in UK.  I enjoy sports and reading books, especially the bible and am constantly trying to better myself. My sports teams are most Chicago teams as I spent a lot of time around Chicago. Plus, I really fell in love with Scotland and am addicted in a sense to Scottish football and Rugby ( somewhat the rugby ).
