This is interesting because I've been thinking about doing the same thing with my Facebook Page. The majority of my referral traffic comes directly from Twitter, then LinkedIn, and very rarely from Facebook (especially since they changed their model to a "pay-to-play"). How about you? Do you find success with your Facebook page?

Why Copyblogger Is Killing Its Facebook Page

Have you ever stared at something, knowing you’re doing everything right, but it still won’t … freaking … work?

That’s how Copyblogger has felt about its Facebook page for quite some time.

As of today, the page has 38,000 “fans,” but Copyblogger’s presence on Facebook has not been beneficial for the brand or its audience.

In this post +Erika Napoletano will break down our reason for cutting the cord with the social site we love to hate.

An audience-first approach drives Copyblogger, and that's just one of the reasons why it's killing its Facebook page. Find out what led to the decision.

I'm a big proponent of +Al Pittampalli's book Read This Before Our Next Meeting. He shares amazing insight to the time wasted in meetings within organizations. Likewise, this video, although funny, drives home the point on how frustrating business conference calls can be. Well done!

The people who achieve extraordinary results don't achieve them by working more hours. They achieve them by getting more done in the hours they work.

Being a horn player, I absolutely love the works of Mahler. But even if you don't play the French horn, you have to admit that they are glorious. Just listen to the closing of Mahler's Symphony #1 (especially around 1:30) with the Berlin Philharmonic (my favorite orchestra and horn section). Bravo, indeed!! #frenchhorn   #berlinphilharmonic

Introduction
Patrick MacNamara is an Apple aficionado, app developer, blogger, chiropractor, Christ-follower, coffee lover, cyclist, husband, father, public speaker, web designer and WordPress consultant.

After graduating from Logan College of Chiropractic in December of 1998, he founded, owned and operated MacNamara Chiropractic, PA, until February of 2005.

Internet Marketing Instructor for Chiropractors

After selling his practice, Dr. MacNamara has concentrated entirely on teaching chiropractors the importance of Internet marketing. His focus includes blog consulting, blog marketing, email marketing, Internet marketing, social media consulting, social media marketing, and social media training.

He’s been featured in the Dynamic Chiropractic, DC Practice Insights and Chiropractic Economics.

If you’re a chiropractor looking for a turn-key solution to Internet marketing, checkout Chiropractic Marketing Websites.

App Developer for Chiropractors

Dr. MacNamara’s passion for new technologies also lead him into app development. He joined Apple’s iOS Developer Program in 2010 and launched Chiropractic Apps in 2011.

Today, Chiropractic Apps focuses on developing iOS and Android apps for chiropractors.

Web Designer for Chiropractors

Dr. MacNamara is also knowledgeable in web design. Matter of fact, he’s been an avid student of HTML, CSS and PHP since 2002.

His current designs incorporate HTML5, the new code standard that is cross-browser compatible. HTML5 makes your site mobile-friendly by being responsive. It also improves your site’s ability to deliver audio and video — an important feature that can’t be ignored with the rise of mobile devices.

If you’re looking for a chiropractic-specific design for your website, check out Chiropractic Blog Designs.

WordPress Consultant for Chiropractors

Dr. MacNamara has over 10 years of experience working with WordPress and has helped hundreds of chiropractors from around the world get started with its platform.

Even though he’s experienced with other Content Management Systems (aka CMS) like Drupal and Joomla, his absolute favorite is WordPress. Matter of fact, it’s his tool-of-choice when customizing websites for chiropractors.

So if you’re considering WordPress but don’t know where to start, please feel free to contact him. He’ll work tirelessly for you to provide the service and support you demand without breaking the bank.

National Speaker

Last but certainly not least, Dr. MacNamara is a sought after speaker. He travels extensively across the U. S. speaking on the same topics you’ll find here at Next Generation Chiropractor.

If your event, organization, or state association is looking for a speaker who can provide relevant and up-to-date information on the aforementioned, then take the next step by visiting his Speaking page.
