So proud of my father-in-law John Martens, serving as a volunteer fireman for more than four decades. Here's a short interview with him and four other guys who retired the same day.

I help spread good ideas online through social media, seo and copywriting
Introduction
I'm the guy who married the best woman in the world (Marie Garmoe). I once worked at +PureDriven, and now work solo at patrickgarmoe.com, fulfilling my dream of helping spread the good ideas of small businesses.

I am a Web strategist (after 10 years in the journalism industry as a writer), which means that I spend my time assisting business owners figure out what of the myriad of options for marketing online fits them. When not doing that, I'm hanging out with my wife, two cats Gracie and Jewel, reading books (mainly non-fiction, about seo, analytics, copywriting, social networking, inbound marketing, and how to be a better follower of Christ) and watching Netflix. I'd like to say I'm an avid snowshoer in the winter, and hiker and geocacher in the summer, but I really only do those things when I'm extra ambitious.  Now it's your turn. Contact me here, or directly at pg@patrickgarmoe.com, or (218) 461-9655.

I've probably been to a million fast food places. This was the first time I'd been to a Chick-fil-A in probably a decade. The food was good, but the service was unbelievably great. Someone actually came by to ask if I wanted a refill, and then held the door as I walked out. Shockingly outstanding service for a fast food place. You just don't see that any more. Oh, the chicken sandwiches I had were also really good, as was the fries.

Really like the Monday night $5 pepperoni special. Probably bought pizza from this place at least once a month for the last couple years. They do a great job. Always solid and fast.
