Happy 149th Birthday Canada!!! 🇨🇦Wishing all my fellow Canadians a Happy Canada🍁 day surrounded by all the people you love. ❤️❤️❤️To celebrate this special day, I have decided to repost one of my favorite shot from this amazing country.🌲

This poem really sums up how I feel about Canada.

I have forever viewed this scene,
and forever seen it alter.
I've seen the green turn red and gold,
and the warm sunshine falter.
I've seen this country suffer,
and have viewed it becoming strong.
I've seen the humans in this place,
develop a stronger bond.
Seen I have many cultures,
and viewed I have many races.
Seen have I many views,
and looked at many different faces.
The beauty of the leaf.
The sweetness of the sap.
The laughter of the sober child,
sitting on his mother's lap.
The sounds of metal connecting with ice.
The cheering of the crowd.
The connecting of many hearts,
as the voices become more loud.
Though from far away I may have come,
from far away I may have seemed.
But consider the fact that I'm Canadian at heart,
and that is how I shall be deemed.

Just read this....Really Love it

Once upon a time, there lived a big mango tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the mangoes, took a nap under the shadow… He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by, The little boy grew, and he no longer played around the tree.

One day, the boy came back to the tree with a sad look on his face. “Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy. “I am no longer a kid, I don’t play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys. I need money to buy them.” “Sorry, I don’t have money… but you can pick all my mangoes and sell them so you will have money.” The boy was so excited. He picked all the mangoes on the tree and left happily. The boy didn’t come back. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy grown into a man returned. The tree was so excited. “Come and play with me,” the tree said. “I don’t have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” “Sorry, I don’t have a house, but you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the man cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy didn’t come back afterward. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” The tree said. “I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” “Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.” So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and didn’t come back for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after he had been gone for so many years. “Sorry, my boy, but I don’t have anything for you anymore. No more mangoes to give you.” The tree said. “I don’t have teeth to bite,” the man replied. “No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now,” the man said.

“I really can’t give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with sadness. “I don’t need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied. “Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest. Come sit down with me and rest.” The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled.
Moral: The tree in the story represents our parents. When we are young, we love to play with them. When we grow up, we leave them and only come back when we need help. Parents sacrifice their lives for us. Never Forget their sacrifices. Give them Love and Care before its too late.
- Shel Silverstein

Don't forget to tell your mom how much you love her ..not only on mother's day but as often as you can :)

Do whatever it takes to find your passion

- It is by trying out new things that you will discover what yours is. Don't be afraid to undertake new chalenges that are given to you, this is how I have discovered mine.

- Ask yourself what makes you feel alive, this will be a great indication of where you should start.

- We are all drawn to it, it is up to us to listen when life is calling our name.

- Passion and love are the two most important things in life.

- Doing what excites you has great power both mentally and physically.

- No matter what you want to do with your life, be passionate.

My advice...Follow your passion, be prepared to work hard and sacrifice a lot of things but in the end I am here to tell you it is definitely worth it!. Stop Wishing you could do it and just do it. You never know when tomorrow might be too late.

Wishing you a day filled with passion. ;) <3

Extremely Happy and a real honour for me to have been chosen by +DJI  to represent them and be part of their small Elite group of Photographers. DJI is the global leader in the development and manufacturing of consumer and commercial drones. Cannot wait to see what I will be able to achieve using their amazing gear. I will now have more chances to capture images from above but without having to jump on a helicopter like I had to in order to capture this scene. Not that I was complaining...far from it :) Wish me luck, this is something completely new and exciting for me. Will hopefully have images to share with all of you very soon.

Would like to thank @RockiesHeliCanada and +Travel Alberta  for giving me the opportunity to live an amazing life experience and capturing the stunning beauty of the Canadian Rockies.

Totally agree with this ..... Do just once what others say you can't do, and you will never pay attention to their limitations again. - James Cook
Presently about to start processing all my images from my recent trip to Jordan (It's about time tongue emoticon ). Here is a quick take of me in front of the Treasury (one of the most elaborate temples in the ancient Arab Nabatean Kingdom city of Petra) For those who have not traveled to Jordan before, you may recognize this place from the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade which its facade is represented as the entrance to the final resting place of the Holy Grail.
Thanks to +Visit Jordan  and +Dream Photo Tours  for making this trip a memorable one.

Haven't read something this good in a while...
Beautiful Poem by - Max Ehrmann

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.

But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Fine Art Landscape & Nature Photographer

    Fine Art Landscape & Nature Photographer
Basic Information
Fine Art Landscape & Nature Photography - Limited Edition Prints -

Di Fruscia is a World Fine Art Nature & Landscape Photographer.

He spent most of his childhood years away from the city, having been raised mostly in the Canadian countryside. From the time of his birth, his experiences in nature was to become a large influence in affecting his ultimate passion for the beauties of the natural world.

His love for the arts has grown throughout the years, and he attributes his devotion to interpreting nature in an artistic manner to his parents' dedication to the arts. His father, Joseph, was a professional photographer during a period in his life and his mother, Michele, was gifted with artistic talents such as drawing, painting, and interior decorating. Her fine eye for details was a big influence on his perception of nature.

As he started reading everything he could get his hands on about photography, he quickly realized that this was an art form that would enable him to express his inner feelings about the world around him. This soon became an insatiable desire to record the beauty of nature. The camera soon became the perfect medium to express his true inner feelings.

The crux of his search was found while visiting the magnificent Gaspe Peninsula. On a warm Fall morning he approached the summit of Mont Ernest LaForce and discovered the breathtaking views spread out before him. At that point he knew this was it! Nature was calling his name loud and clear. This was a magical moment that he will remember forever. The art of photography had now turned to a true passion.

Since then, Di Fruscia's work has won many awards, has been published and displayed thru a multitude of Medias (books, calendars, magazines, travel guides etc.) and by many prestigious companies such as, National Geographic and Kodak, just to name a few. His work has also been displayed in several art galleries around the world.

Di Fruscia has set his goals to always improve his craft. His quest to become a better photographer will never cease. He personally thinks that the learning curve is endless, and he has only himself to criticize when he feels that he is not living up to his artistic endeavors. Constantly searching for those rare magical moments when the Perfect Light embraces nature in all its glory, you can rest assured - that this is only the beginning of a long and dedicated quest to capture the breathtaking beauty of nature.
