“The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing, and becomes nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot learn and feel and change and grow and love and live.” - Leo F. Buscaglia

I read that quote this morning and thought it would be the perfect fit with this old shot of mine taken way back in 2006. I know most of you have already seen this many times. A little Blast from the past for you today my G+ friends. :)

We all have our daily problems and crisis that are going on inside our heads. Over the years, I have found that it is really crucial that I stop for a second, take a deep breath and evaluate how important are all these so called problems. To what scale am I making it worst by feeding them constantly with destructive thoughts. How many times have you gone through this pattern of worrying and imagining the worst of a situation simply to realize afterwards that it wasn't so bad. Unfortunately, It is easier to find something to be miserable about...much easier than to find something to be happy for. We owe it to the thousands of people that are presently on their death beds to enjoy life to the fullest...I am pretty sure they would do anything at this moment to only worry about what we so-call our "problems". Hopefully we can all realize that before our turn comes. Maybe I am going to the extreme a little here but think about it for a sec... Like most previous problems, crisis or things that aggravated us in the past.. they all came and left with no critical consequences. We wasted all that precious time worrying or being angry for absolutely nothing. So, really, how important are your problems today?
*this message is directed at Mr. +Patrick Di Fruscia   If I needed to remind myself of this today, I am pretty sure someone else does too.

Sorry for Reposting but this time via youtube for those experiencing difficulties with my previous post. Hope this helps.

For this new year we should all ask ourselves, how can I make my life better while at the same time, make other people's life better also. I personally believe that if everyone was doing what they are gifted at for at least a small part of their time/life, that the whole world would benefit from that. Too many people have amazing talents and/or aptitudes that lies dormant. I often think that we will never get to see some of the greatest artists, teachers, athletes etc. simply because these people were brought up being told what they should do by people that thought they knew what was best for them. I know this is a bit far fetch and even unreal but stop for a sec and imagine a world where everyone would be doing exactly what they were brought here to do. Wouldn't that be awesome? You can say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one ;)

Introduction

Di Fruscia is a World Fine Art Nature & Landscape Photographer.

He spent most of his childhood years away from the city, having been raised mostly in the Canadian countryside. From the time of his birth, his experiences in nature was to become a large influence in affecting his ultimate passion for the beauties of the natural world.

His love for the arts has grown throughout the years, and he attributes his devotion to interpreting nature in an artistic manner to his parents' dedication to the arts. His father, Joseph, was a professional photographer during a period in his life and his mother, Michele, was gifted with artistic talents such as drawing, painting, and interior decorating. Her fine eye for details was a big influence on his perception of nature.

As he started reading everything he could get his hands on about photography, he quickly realized that this was an art form that would enable him to express his inner feelings about the world around him. This soon became an insatiable desire to record the beauty of nature. The camera soon became the perfect medium to express his true inner feelings.

The crux of his search was found while visiting the magnificent Gaspe Peninsula. On a warm Fall morning he approached the summit of Mont Ernest LaForce and discovered the breathtaking views spread out before him. At that point he knew this was it! Nature was calling his name loud and clear. This was a magical moment that he will remember forever. The art of photography had now turned to a true passion.

Since then, Di Fruscia's work has won many awards, has been published and displayed thru a multitude of Medias (books, calendars, magazines, travel guides etc.) and by many prestigious companies such as, National Geographic and Kodak, just to name a few. His work has also been displayed in several art galleries around the world.

Di Fruscia has set his goals to always improve his craft. His quest to become a better photographer will never cease. He personally thinks that the learning curve is endless, and he has only himself to criticize when he feels that he is not living up to his artistic endeavors. Constantly searching for those rare magical moments when the Perfect Light embraces nature in all its glory, you can rest assured - that this is only the beginning of a long and dedicated quest to capture the breathtaking beauty of nature.
