Modern airplanes are basically a giant computer, and the latest reminder of that fact came Friday.
The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a warning about the Boeing 787 Dreamliner's computer system, which has a software counter that could periodically shut down all electrical power and "result in loss of control of the airplane." To prevent that, airlines must completely power down the electrical systems on the plane at least once every 248 days. #modern #aviation #FAA #boeing #Boeing787 #airplane
