I can unabashedly say I love Eddie...Saxman Eddie Baccus Jr., that is....he is one of the most unique and melodic artists on sax...he is also family...warm, heartfelt and loyal...I am blessed to know him and make music with him...his resume includes working with jazz greats like keyboardist Russell Ferrante of the Yellowjackets, fellow saxmen Eric Marienthal and Elan Trotman and blues guitarist Robben Ford...I can't wait till he arrives next month with the East Coast Bros to lay down tracks with me and the Utopian Dreams Band and perform with us all at Kuumbwa Jazz Center on August 29 in Santa Cruz, California

To all my serious synth geeks "Equator" arrived today from England...It is the world's first cross-platform, multidimensional sound engine...for my SeaboardGRAND controller by ROLI... Now I no longer have to be hooked up to the MacBook Pro...The SeaboardGRAND is now a state of the art standalone synth...so excited

Also, Aalto from version 1.6 works really nicely with the soundplane and eigenharp using voice per channel etc.

Jerry Weintraub was one of the best and original music industry tour promoters/music managers, working with artists such as John Denver, Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond and Elvis Presley. He then became the mega-producer behind ‪the Karate Kid and ‪Oceans Eleven‬. #JerryWeintraub‬ dies suddenly today at age 77 in ‪Palm Springs‬ ...Just shocking...lost one of the greats today...RIP Jerry

  • Patricia Britton Contemporary Jazz Artist
    1973 - present
In 1993, Patricia produced and managed her own contemporary quintet, “Sonoma”. She booked the popular regional quintet for 6 years ending up in the corporate, winery, and festival circuit with such local luminaries as Mark Levine and Ricardo Scales. It was during this project that Patricia met GMichael, who replaced her on bass as she moved to playing keyboard synthesizer to play those “lush strings and accents” of musical soundscapes. Now she is working with him co-producing the “Utopian Dreams Band” and loving it. Patricia is a 2011 CoffeeTalkJazzRadio award winner for achievement in contemporary jazz.

I like Exchange and I like banking at a local bank...in particular I like their drive thru services...the "folks" in the bank have always been helpful and courteous and now know me pretty well. What I don't like is their online services and weird charges for depositing checks via phone app...as a small business person I would like to make deposits digitally from my office but $.50 a check?...come on now... or charges for giving you check images with your statement (recent)...it is irritating and so behind the technology times...they need an upgrade to more fluid technology rather then using a third party to run their online services and remove the irritating charges....I will still stay with them for now but as soon as Summit or another local bank upgrades...I will be moving
