Wow -- went to eat at L&B Spumoni Gardens tonight for dinner and got totally disrespected by the staff. They were so rude! My husband and I ordered rice balls as an appetizer, and I ordered the large seafood salad as the main course and my husband ordered the eggplant Sicilian pasta. We also ordered a carafe of red wine to enjoy with our meal. As we sat and waited. and waited. for our meal --over 30 minutes-- we drank half the wine and ate all the bread in the bread in the bread basket as we were really hungry. We kept looking for our waiter as our appetizer was not served, even though a half hour passed. Then a server came out with my husband's entree alone, even though we did not get our appetizers. When we saw our waiter we called him over to point out the error. He said "I'm sorry, my mistake" but right then the rice ball appetizer was served to us by someone else. We asked that they rice balls be taken back, as now it was too late to eat them when my husband already was served his entree, and we asked where my entree was? At this time a big burly man comes over to our table, grabs the pasta dish from my husband and says" I own this place--GET OUT!" They make a mistake and throw their customers out?? We were totally shocked by their crass, low class, rude behavior. I don't care how good their food is, a customer should not be disrespected in this way. GOODBYE L&B--you will never see us again!
