Good advice here ...

Have to say +Rebekah Radice is one of my favorite bloggers. This is a great primer if you're contemplating whether or not you should start a blog for your business.

You probably know what I think! Both Rebekah and I started blogging in 2004, the early days of business blogging. For both of us, it's helped grow and shape our businesses.

Check out the article and if you're not blogging yet, now's the time!

Finally got the pattern written, tested, and published.
Here's the pattern for the magenta crochet clutch I felted in the dryer. Great for advanced beginners and intermediate crocheters.

Very nice. Love the stitch pattern and how you put the dress together. How much yarn did you use and what weight yarn? Thanks in advance.

Yup, it's crochet, not knitting :-). Been doing it for 40+ years. Great video! Keep on hookin' no matter where you are!

Trying to get inspired to crochet (and write), but it's been hard going. Hopefully, juices are simmering beneath the surface, and I'll be crocheting (and writing) like gang busters soon.
I'm in a crochet slump, and I can't seem to pull myself out of it. What should I do?

Hey +Karen Ultis , great advice! I've been feeling that something new is on the horizon, but not sure what. Not knowing is probably what's making me feel "unproductive." But as you say, a sabbatical is probably what I need right now. The cat says it all, doesn't she? :-)

This bag is going to be great for glass items ...
Change an existing one. Yes, there's no rule that says you can't change an existing pattern to suit your preferences. Here's how I went about it.

I had fun crocheting this. Learned a lot about crocheting cables.
Craftsy's Quick & Easy Crochet Cables class taught me how to make this classic clutch. Keep reading to learn how I lined it.

I have discovered "dryer felting" and I am hooked! These pieces were felted in a top-loading washing machine. Read the blog post to find out how to felt in the dryer.
With at least three ways to felt crochet and knit projects described in this post, what's stopping you?

It's not just about working; it's about INSPIRED action, not action you logically think you HAVE to do to get what you want to manifest. Amazing story Anja! Thanks for sharing.
