"After spending a breathless hour on the summit of Mauna Kea, I decided it was time to head down. Rounding the first corner of the descent, this scene presented itself out the passenger side window. Should I stop, do a U turn and get all the gear back out? It's funny how close some shots are to not happening, some moments almost missed."
