yeah if you're decent in JS it's pretty neat. I combined socket.io and the Ace editor to create a shared real time code editor, which was surprisingly easy

Google+ stream still need a lot of work. Mine has been flooded by just a two or three people. The current algorithm seems to encourage flooding. Blockin seems to be to only recourse.
