Everybody watch this.
Albrecht Dürer produced one of the largest prints ever – the Triumphal Arch for the Holy Roman Emperor. Altogether it’s nearly 3 metres tall, and consists of 36 sheets of paper. This colossal image was printed using 195 different woodblocks and was made between 1515 and 1517.

In this behind-the-scenes video, follow the complex conservation involved in caring for this 500-year-old artwork.

Every time I say "that's good for press" it's as scary as the first time.

If three sorcerer kings need to join their forces to tap one mana, they must be really low energy. Sad!

I finished reading Heirs to Forgotten Kingdoms (it's really good if a bit light on spells) and started Lies of Locke Lamora. LoLL seems to have good dialogue but the narration reads for the time being as if the author is failing to channel Lovecraft in turn failing to channel Dunsany. The author still manages to pull nice turn of phrases like (iirc) "seven scores orphans bend their knees to a bent old man". I hope it gets better, or else I might be tempted to make short stories of my Gangs & Bullshit games and pitch them to bona fide publishers.

I'm now at the gym on the exercise bike reading RAGNAROK, THE GAME IN ALL CAPS. RTGIAC attempts some smart stuff. I'll report on whether it succeeds after playing it.
