Medication Safety: If you're always prescribed the same repeating prescription and it suddenly changes shape, color, or has unusual markings, make sure to ask and verify that it's the same drug that you've been prescribed. It's possible for the wrong medication to be put into your prescription bottle, and taking a dose could be fatal.

For decades it was celebrated nationally on May 30 until congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, which went into effect in 1971, to celebrate Memorial Day on the last Monday every May in order to create a three-day weekend for federal employees.

A new survey released yesterday by AT&T shows that roughly 70 percent of respondents use their smartphones while driving. The 2,067 survey participants were between the ages of 16 and 65.

The article also notes that according to the National Safety Council (NSC), drivers who are texting are at least eight times as likely to crash compared with those who are not. So why do we keep taking the risk?

The survey also asked about why people continue to drive distracted. Read about the responses here: http://www.newsweek.com/people-are-texting-emailing-facebooking-and-selfie-ing-while-driving-333467
