I took this through my sunroof during the sunshower today. Turned out really cool. No filters or anything. (I was not the one driving, by the way;) )

I'm rewatching Halt and Catch Fire. Great acting! I'm seeing all the little nuances the second time around. It goes without saying that I love the 80's history, as well. Love this show! First season is on Netflix, if you missed it.

Sigh. We haven't seen it this bad in a while.
Of all the images we've seen from Houston's flooding event, these are the 8 most incredible.

Great analysis of the watch.

"The Women Are Still the Best Characters" Yep and
"Whereas the first season made Joe the sun and everyone else tiny planets around him, the second season has leveled the importance of each character, linked them to each other in different ways, and taken a step back to observe a few of them at a time." Yep.

All great points. Pretty accurate analysis of HALT AND CATCH FIRE, although I enjoyed season 1 A LOT more than the author did.

I really, really hope it gets enough ratings to continue on past season two. Because I'm becoming super attached to the characters.
It had a rough start, but AMC's other period drama is finally getting its footing. Here's why you should be watching if you're not already.

Hmmm...Shall I cancel the Driver's Ed lesson with my son today? He does need to learn to deal with rain - after all, we're in Houston and it rains ALL THE TIME... ;)

We're fortunate that it didn't flood like that in our neighborhood, so we're good. Just solid rain. Thanks! :)

"The new proactive Siri will be available with a simple swipe. It’ll live on the side of your home screen and keep track of your most frequent app launches and searches, as well as serving up relevant info from apps, maps and contacts." WOW. And when Apple fans begin using this, they will absolutely think that Apple invented this technology. And it still won't be as good as Google Now.
Siri has just got a serious upgrade. At WWDC, Apple unveiled proactive Siri in iOS 9, uniting the voice assistant with services including Spotlight, Calendar and Maps. The 'proactive' ...

Whelp, at least someone is banking from the massive flooding.
A man who makes his living relocating alligators in the Houston area says he has been quite busy this week as flood waters have displaced wildlife.
