My husband surprised me with a book comprised of my own work. I am rendered speechless for the first time maybe, ever.

I did NaNoWriMo in 2013... I learned a ton, but mostly this: Why Writers Drink. Just kidding. Sort of. http://www.whatevsblog.com/2015/11/5-things-i-learned-from-nanowrimo.html

Does your kid ever act like you're a kidnapper at school pick-up or is that just me? http://www.scarymommy.com/the-worst-preschool-pickup-ever/ #parenting   #motherhood   #threenager
My kid was crying and upset at preschool pickup. All the other kids were running to their moms with outstretched arms and sunny grins.

Bad: Your kid acts like you're trying to kidnap her at pick-up after the first day of preschool.
Good: You have great material for an essay.

If you only have time to read one sentence of this blog post, let it be this: I tried The Dailey Method (or TDM) for the first time and I am definitely going back. But since brief isn’t my thing, let me fill you in on the dets if you have time… Lately, I have been …

I'm up on Your Tango today with a piece about my husband... http://www.yourtango.com/2015282486/my-husband-is-man-didnt-know-i-needed
I didn't think my husband was my type. It turned out, I didn't know what my type was until we met.

I purged. It was amazing. There was no magic involved, nor did I touch all the the things.

When I was pregnant with our second baby, I worried that our newborn would wake our older child at night. But motherhood has a funny way of surprising you.

I love everything about this place except that fact that it's not closer to where I live. The food is incredible, the service is excellent, and they were super about accommodating all the crazy food restrictions I have to adhere to for my nursing baby's allergies. Even the one at DIA is fantastic.

Food was great and service was great. I ordered a noodle bowl and the mango rice pudding dessert, both if which were delicious. I was especially impressed by the fact that so much of the menu was nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free, wheat-free, and gluten-free, which for me is (all) necessary right now, and such a pain when going to out eat. I would have given it 5 stars except the day after we ate there, both my husband and I had headaches. We rarely get headaches... I thought maybe it was just that I drank sake, which is unusual for me, but my husband had one beer, which is usual for him.... They say there is no MSG in the food, but I am wondering if perhaps there is something else in the food that gave us a headache? If not for the headache I would have given it 5 stars.

I am 37 weeks pregnant, my ligaments are loose and I fell this morning (while walking at a Grandma pace) and really hurt myself. My inner thighs felt like I had done a split. The word "waddle" does not begin to describe my gait... Then I saw Wendy. When I got off the table, I felt SO much better, as far as pain, and noticed that I was almost walking like a normal bipedal again. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I highly recommend Wendy!!!

I loved working with John. He was courteous, professional, and he really cares about his work. We had an extensive project and though it was overwhelming, dealing with John never was! Also, his prices were competitive. He was very responsive to phone calls, emails, and texts, and was also very great to talk to in person. He is a straight shooter, but he also has a good sense of humor and is very personable. He was always pleasant to be around, and so were all of his sub-contractors. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so in the future.

Bundle is fantastic! Amanda is super- very warm and knowledgeable. She answered all of my cloth diapering questions and was super easy to work with, as far as buying diapers and arranging diaper service. I would definitely recommend shopping at Bundle, especially to a first time parent who may be overwhelmed with all the cloth diapering options. You just cannot get the same experience when shopping online.
