Don’t let silly English mistakes torpedo your website. Your company could be exactly what a potential customer is looking for, but if he thinks your website is carelessly built and hard to understand, it’s extremely unlikely he will give your company a second chance. All it takes is the help of a professional, experienced copywriter to eliminate those silly mistakes and create written content that converts visitors into customers. Website design takes a small army if you’re determined to do it right. Granted, you can build a basic, barely functioning website and then gradually improve it over the course of several years, but that’s not a good way to impress your visitors. Launching a new website and having it look and work great right off the bat requires a huge amount of collaborative work from a lot of talented people. Don’t worry—that’s just what PalmettoSoft offers. http://www.palmettosoft.com/web-design-services/

The issue of “reputation management” is in the news at the moment, although you might not see that exact phrase in the headlines. President Trump last week expressed his displeasure, via Twitter, that many of the news stories featured in the top rankings for searches of his name were negative in nature. No one likes to see unflattering material about themselves online, but it’s highly questionable whether there’s a quick or easy way to solve the problem! https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-says-google-rigged-bad-news-him-115542446.html

Google AdWords is gone, but there’s no need to panic. It’s merely transformed into Google Ads, which sports a cool new logo and lots of more substantive improvements as well. Most of those improvements are centered around helping campaign managers understand the flood of metrics generated by the public’s interaction with their campaigns and how they can use those metrics to make decisions about the future direction of their strategies. Looking at lists of numbers can make you dizzy after a while, or at least make it very difficult for you to concentrate and make sense of your digital marketing campaign’s performance. Google Ads has made things a little easier for campaign managers by making many of its reports more visual by default, converting those numbers into bars, graphs, charts, and other graphics that are a bit easier on the eyes. Find out about more of the differences between Google AdWords and Google Ads on our blog: http://www.palmettosoft.com/google-adwords-is-now-google-ads-but-is-it-different/

Google Ads provides incredible advertising opportunities for businesses, but there are also huge pitfalls that are important to avoid. For example, if you put an inexperienced manager in charge of your campaign (perhaps because they charge a very low management fee), the result will probably be a lot of clicks but few actual conversions. That’s a waste of money! Your campaign manager needs to know not just what will get clicks, but what will get clicks from people who will become paying customers. http://www.palmettosoft.com/blog/

Hiring a web designer at a rate that’s “too good to be true” might be a good decision, but it might also be the worst decision you could make for your company’s online marketing campaign. A website built by someone who’s still figuring out his craft probably won’t represent your company the way you want it to, and that means that visitors representing valuable sales leads will leave your website without bothering to contact you directly and establish a relationship. http://www.palmettosoft.com/four-charleston-web-design-details-that-actually-matter/

Your website isn’t able to present every detail of your company to your audience, and it’s a mistake to try to make it do so. That makes for a huge, bulky, wordy website that no visitor will be diligent enough to wade through! Simplicity is key, especially in the current era of smartphone Web navigation. Far better to build a small, direct, and professional website that introduces your company well and invites visitors to talk with you directly to find out more about you. http://www.palmettosoft.com/four-charleston-web-design-details-that-actually-matter/

Some of the most important details of your website are things that most people will not particularly notice. But the color scheme, navigation structure, and other “background” features of your website certainly play a huge role in determining whether visitors stick around and dive deeper into your website or give up and visit somewhere else. Learn about these small details in our most recent blogpost, and be sure that the company you choose to design your website understands how to manage them! http://www.palmettosoft.com/four-charleston-web-design-details-that-actually-matter/
