Jon and Jill Phillips have done it again. We were invited to the pre-opening night of a new Falmouth restaurant. The location is a little out of the way but well worth the short drive to Falmouth's Cape Cod Golf Club. The clubhouse is located on a hill, facing west and overlooking the course. The sunset was beautiful and the food was outstanding. I had Jill's Pasta and could not resist their homemade ice cream for desert. Bill had the Tuna which he thoroughly enjoyed. We are planning to return soon and I will write a complete review for the restaurant section of our blog. #TCGGrill #Falmouthrestaurant #CapeCodcuisine

#Lighthouses of the Cape and Islands - Gay Head Light in Martha's Vineyard. http://ow.ly/10xVee #travel
Gay Head Light would protect the waters between the clay cliffs of Gay Head and the Elizabeth Islands, an area of extremely dangerous underwater shoals and rock formations that are a constant threat to the safe travel of whaling vessels and their crews.

This time of year is just so pleasant. Each morning as I walk to work at the main inn, there are new signs of the changing of the season. #CapeCodgarden #FalmouthVillageinBloom

My wife and I spent a week and a half touring the New England states taking in the fall colors and visiting lighthouses, and our last stop was Cape Cod. The only recommendation we received for B&B's on the Cape was the Palmer House Inn and we weren't disappointed. The room was beautiful, as was the rest of the inn, and the service was superb! We will certainly stay there the next time we visit Cape Cod. Just a heads-up...there's more street noise than I expected for a small New England village, so try to get a room that's not facing the street if you're a light sleeper. And the rooms have high ceilings, which means it's a long walk up the stairs, so don't pack the kitchen sink. Chuck and Carol Brady Anchorage, Alaska

I have had the opportunity to visit the Palmer House Inn a few times while doing business in Falmouth Village, MA. I love it for the fabulous location, wonderful hospitality and really comfy rooms. I've stayed in a few different rooms at the inn, and each is as lovely as the next. The special Cape Cod "sunrise" surprise drink in the morning is a wonderful way to start the day too! The welcoming fireplace, both in the parlor and in many of the guest rooms are such a lovely addition during the winter months of the year. Most of all, Pat and Bill are just fabulous innkeepers. I highly recommend the Palmer House Inn for any Cape Cod vacation.

My husband and I spent a lovely weekend at the Palmer House Inn this past Fall. The grounds are lovely, the Inn is immaculate and the innkeepers are friendly and knowledgeable. They had excellent suggestions for dinner and for activities during the day. We walked down to the beach by way of the bike path and visited the local museums and gardens. It was the prefect place to relax and recharge. We will certainly return.

A sincere word of thanks to Pat and Bill, the innkeepers at The Palmer House Inn in Falmouth MA. We enjoyed our stay at your wonderful inn and loved it so much, we decided to bring our friends along next time.
The staff at The Palmer House Inn makes every effort to insure that even the smallest of details are simply perfect. Thank you.
Just a quick mention of what to expect if you are planning a stay at PHI.
First, don't miss breakfast, it will likely be one of the most memorable parts of your stay. The food, like everything else at the Inn, is carefully selected to add just another level of perfection to a wonderful stay.
Second, the main house and Carriage House are impeccably decorated with much thought and attention to detail. Be sure to explore each floor, as there is something interesting around every corner, and in every nook and cranny.

We have stayed in the Emily Dickinson room with its fireplace, canopy bed, and whirlpool tub. No matter which room you stay in you are going to feel pampered. The beds are wonderful, and although high, come complete with step stool!
The rooms and Inn are decorated very richly. Antiques abound everywhere, as does the Inn's wonderful artwork. We can't wait to return again, and plan to make it a regular stop for many years to come.

Our first experience at a B&B was a great one. We rented the Henry James room (The Penthouse) and it was amazing!! The staff was very welcoming. They gave us a tour of the house and its history and led us to our room. While we were out to dinner they turned down the bed us. The breakfast was elegant and delicious. Overall, it was a great experience and one we hope to repeat next year.

Bill and Pat are fantastic! They truly have a gem of a place. The buildings and grounds are meticulously kept. It was beautiful. My wife and I had our honeymoon in the Penthouse suite. This room was remarkable. Their attention to detail in everything they do is overwhelming. We are looking forward to celebrating anniversaries to come at the Palmer House.

My wife plus my brother and his wife visited the Palmer House Inn for two nights in August 2014. We explored the Falmouth/Woods Hole area taking walks and riding the bike trails. Our stay at the Inn was perfect! Our Innkeepers were professional, helpful, and friendly. They obviously set the tone for their employees as they treated the guests the same pleasant way. The rooms are clean and well kept and as nice as you see in the pictures. The breakfasts were delicious. We look forward to visiting the Palmer House Inn again.
