Introducing the Palmer House Inn's very own She Shed.
http://www.palmerhouseinn.com/the-she-shed/ #sheshed #girlpower #fallgarden
This spring I was introduced to the new concept of the “She Shed” by Patti Keating a horticulturist from Cape Cod Community College. Patti came to help me with our Falmouth Village Spring Garden Tour. After talking with her, I decided that the Palmer House Inn should have its own version of the She Shed. [...]

The #begonias are magnificent this year. They will bloom into December if we keep them close to the buildings and away from the ground. These are on the porch of the cottage (http://www.palmerhouseinn.com/cape-cod-accommodations/henry-thoreau-cottage/). #CapeCodgarden #bedandbreakfast

We went to Liam Maguire's Irish Pub the other day and I had the lobster roll. It was wonderful. They use three dinner rolls that have been split down the middle as the bun. It is grilled and the lobster has just the right amount of mayo. MM good! http://www.palmerhouseinn.com/cape-restaurant-liam-maguires-irish-pub/ #lobsterroll #capecodcuisine

Great place of the beaten path but still walking distance to everything. Very well kept with a lot of attention to detail. Amazing breakfast!

Very rude to my friends that stayed there for their wedding. Owner was very unprofessional. Do not stay here!

Bill and Pat are fantastic! They truly have a gem of a place. The buildings and grounds are meticulously kept. It was beautiful. My wife and I had our honeymoon in the Penthouse suite. This room was remarkable. Their attention to detail in everything they do is overwhelming. We are looking forward to celebrating anniversaries to come at the Palmer House.

My husband and I spent a lovely weekend at the Palmer House Inn this past Fall. The grounds are lovely, the Inn is immaculate and the innkeepers are friendly and knowledgeable. They had excellent suggestions for dinner and for activities during the day. We walked down to the beach by way of the bike path and visited the local museums and gardens. It was the prefect place to relax and recharge. We will certainly return.

My wife and I spent a week and a half touring the New England states taking in the fall colors and visiting lighthouses, and our last stop was Cape Cod. The only recommendation we received for B&B's on the Cape was the Palmer House Inn and we weren't disappointed. The room was beautiful, as was the rest of the inn, and the service was superb! We will certainly stay there the next time we visit Cape Cod. Just a heads-up...there's more street noise than I expected for a small New England village, so try to get a room that's not facing the street if you're a light sleeper. And the rooms have high ceilings, which means it's a long walk up the stairs, so don't pack the kitchen sink. Chuck and Carol Brady Anchorage, Alaska

I have had the opportunity to visit the Palmer House Inn a few times while doing business in Falmouth Village, MA. I love it for the fabulous location, wonderful hospitality and really comfy rooms. I've stayed in a few different rooms at the inn, and each is as lovely as the next. The special Cape Cod "sunrise" surprise drink in the morning is a wonderful way to start the day too! The welcoming fireplace, both in the parlor and in many of the guest rooms are such a lovely addition during the winter months of the year. Most of all, Pat and Bill are just fabulous innkeepers. I highly recommend the Palmer House Inn for any Cape Cod vacation.

Our first experience at a B&B was a great one. We rented the Henry James room (The Penthouse) and it was amazing!! The staff was very welcoming. They gave us a tour of the house and its history and led us to our room. While we were out to dinner they turned down the bed us. The breakfast was elegant and delicious. Overall, it was a great experience and one we hope to repeat next year.

A sincere word of thanks to Pat and Bill, the innkeepers at The Palmer House Inn in Falmouth MA. We enjoyed our stay at your wonderful inn and loved it so much, we decided to bring our friends along next time.
The staff at The Palmer House Inn makes every effort to insure that even the smallest of details are simply perfect. Thank you.
Just a quick mention of what to expect if you are planning a stay at PHI.
First, don't miss breakfast, it will likely be one of the most memorable parts of your stay. The food, like everything else at the Inn, is carefully selected to add just another level of perfection to a wonderful stay.
Second, the main house and Carriage House are impeccably decorated with much thought and attention to detail. Be sure to explore each floor, as there is something interesting around every corner, and in every nook and cranny.

We have stayed in the Emily Dickinson room with its fireplace, canopy bed, and whirlpool tub. No matter which room you stay in you are going to feel pampered. The beds are wonderful, and although high, come complete with step stool!
The rooms and Inn are decorated very richly. Antiques abound everywhere, as does the Inn's wonderful artwork. We can't wait to return again, and plan to make it a regular stop for many years to come.
