Wonderful little nest: cozy, quaint, quiet. Extremely helpful staff. I left a book there and they UPS'ed it to me right away; so kind. This is a really good place to stay. Easy one mile walk to OSF. Morning Glory restaurant next door is also 5 star!

We have been coming to the palm off and on for 15 years. The place just keeps on getting better. Small kitchen, beautiful grounds and a wonderful pool. We will be back next year.

This motel is located right on the US Hwy 99, and it is *noisy*. It is also pretty far away from where the action is. However, it is pretty affordable. I consider the photos fairly misleading because the room I got is really not as clean, bright or good-looking as the photos would have me believe. However, the manager (Amy) was super-friendly and helpful, and transferred me to their sister property the Columbia Hotel which is right on main st, and I found a quiet room there. If you manage to get a room away from the street, the Columbia Hotel is not a bad option.

The good part: a beautiful garden surrounding. The bad part: rooms very, very small The worst part: We had to leave on the third day because of an emergency at home missing our play etc. The management was totally inflexible and would not refund for our unused third night. I would not stay here again

Stayed two nights here in May, 2014 after being referred by another one of their properties, the Columbia Hotel. The room was immaculate, the heated pool perfect for my morning swim, and the staff were ever so willing to please (I can be somewhat needy while on vacation and they brought me a toothbrush and some shaving cream to my room after I called the front desk to let them know I had forgotten my own.) The gardens are lush and my wife enjoyed them immensely. We talked to their gardener about planting some of the same varieties of flowers in our home in Redding.

This place is really sweet, well cared-for and the front desk folks are so helpful and pleasant. Great deal for the price.

Do not go here these folks are unpleasant owner is a meanie. My visiting family stayed here and they were treated like creeps the pictures make the rooms seem way more lavish and big but they are ity bity and a lot more expensive than what you get.
