Last week I got to be apart of the sweetest intimate wedding ceremony at the River Cafe in Prince's Island Park. Standing in front of the wood burning fireplace on a chilly, foggy Friday morning Dan & Sara said I do! Holding their 2 year old son they slipped rings on each others hands and promised each other forever. It truly was the perfect River Cafe Intimate Elopement. Today this beautiful couples wedding is up on the blog. Check out all the sweet moments below:

Some girls dream of the moment they walk down the aisle. The perfect dress they will be wearing, their perfectly pick flowers they will be holding, and the prince charming they will be walking up to. With all the emphasis on the perfect wedding day, it’s no wonder many of us feel pressured to live up to the hype. Between planning a kick-ass reception to go along with your emotional wedding ceremony, it’s important to stop and really remember the whole purpose for the celebration: the marriage!! You know, the thing that happens when all the people are gone, when the bouquet is past it's prime, and when all the excitement is over. Here are five reasons Why You Should Look Forwards to Your Marriage, Not Just Your Wedding. Check it out on the blog today!

On the perfect autumn Friday afternoon I got to be apart of a very intimate mountain wedding. Justin & Jacqueline were planning the traditional large wedding to take place early this past spring, but as the day grew closer they both started to feel more and more that a big wedding wasn't what they wanted. They decided to cancel their big wedding plans and plan something that was more them. Standing at the base of a mountain on the docks of Mount Loretta Ponds, Justin & Jacqueline said I do in front of their closest family members. Today their intimate wedding is gracing my blog. This is a question a lot of couples struggle with when planning their wedding day? Do you see each other before the ceremony or do you keep it traditional and plan to see each other as you walk down the aisle? My husband and I planned a traditional timeline where we would see each other as the drapes were pulled open and I walked down the stones steps to the start of our wedding aisle. Now that we have lived the traditional timeline and have shot many many first looks, I would 100% go back in time and do a first look instead. Why would I change my mind so drastically? I have have 4 reasons why a first look timeline might be the choice for you. Check it out on the blog today!

Have you ever stopped to think why you do what you do? Why you love your job? Your hobby? Your passion? For me, all three of those things are wrapped up in the same package (which isn't always the case for many). I definitely consider myself lucky to be able to say that, and for the first time I sat down to think about my "Why" and why I truly believe photography is what I am suppose to be doing for a career. If you want to hear all about the purpose of my passion check out the blog today!

I have been lucky enough to know Josh's family for a couple years. Daniella first contacted me for Josh's cake smash session awhile back. He has grown up a bit since then and now he is the cutest chatter box ever! I got to photograph them again last week and today their family session is on the blog! You can check it out below:

On a perfect fall day James & Tanisha stood in front of their loved ones and said I Do at the most amazing barn venue. As their daughter pulled her three month old brother up the aisle you heard nothing but awes and hearts melting. Then as their daughter Kimoa stood holding the maid of honours hand she was sobbing with joy that her parents were tying the knot. There wasn't a dry eye in the crowd for their Willow Lane Barn Wedding day. Today their full wedding day is up on the blog, and you can check it out below:
