Mother's Day is a holiday you can't forget, and it falls on Sunday, May 8 this year. Moms and other special females deserve to be treated, so make plans to explore a local winery, garden or art gallery - and show them just how much you care.

I love this little hotel. It has so much character. The location is great, right around the corner from the Weston and you pay much less. The staff was so nice and very accommodating. When I return, I'd stay here. It's an older hotel but it's super clean. Tiny rooms but you are there to explore the city not spend time in your room!I love San Fran! I wished I could have stayed there longer!

Good place to stay. Very reasonably priced and in the heart of Union Square, near the entrance to Chinatown. Old place, but clean and well-appointed. You can hear the beat of the city at night, including a street musician blowing his horn. It was great. Service was very nice.

The staff was incredible as were the rooms. We visited from Seattle just for the weekend to see the USS Midway and thoroughly enjoyed the views and access to the beach along with good restaurants that you can easily get to via the boardwalk.

Fantastic boutique hotel in a great area in San Diego, easily walk-able to the Gas lamp District, Balboa Park and the harbor. The room was gorgeous and the view incredible. The room was small, but was perfect for the two of us. The bed was super comfortable and the linens very lush feeling. I loved that we had the use of bikes when we stayed there too.

Since we first called the staff has been unbelievably nice and helpful. I had never been here so didn't know what to expect. We couldn't be happier. The location and view are worth 4x what I'm paying. The staff remains unexpectedly helpful. It's not the hippest or sleekest hotel I've been to, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. The room is very nice, though a tad dated, and very good sized. Only one other time have we ever declared we would return to a hotel and now this is our second. (The other was very sleek in Soho) My wife and I agree, we really love this place.

I've been to 5/7 continents for business and pleasure and we will definitely go back here. In fact I have already referred a friend here and I don't refer an "unworthy" place. Right on the beach. Sound of surf will put you to sleep. The sunsets are amazing. The room are nice enough to feel like you are away from home and yet not so fancy that you feel like you can't touch anything. Staff is warm and helpful with local tips for exploring and dining. Relax by the pool and look right at the beach. Walked just down the beach each morning for breakfast a Konos- which is fantastic. Sorry, didn't eat at the hotel but NOT sorry we ate at Konos.:) It just doesn't get much better than this IMHO. Give them a shot.

Used to be a nice place until . i spoke with the night manager yuck .. you can do better for 500 a night .. i'd rather stay in gitmo..He was rude refused to change my reservations , hung- up .. chastised me .. and at my age i can't see paying for this kind of treatment...was a really nice place back in the day, but lately i wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. HAVE A BLESSED DAY
