I had my wedding here and its by far the worst place to have a wedding no hospitality at all, they are after is your money!  I tried to lower my guest count and was told to take back my deposit and to take my business else were.  The menu that was sold to us was for $53.95 per person and when it came time to sample our food they tried to pass us off a different menu with less food selection a good old bait and switch so they think you will forget what was on your original menu which was more in cost at $61.95per person.  I asked for a wall to divide rooms and have two separate buffs and was told it was $1500 so i paid for that what i got on the day of the wedding was a wall and one buffet which was placed on the women's side and they opened the door from the men's side of the divider another bait and switch.  Put every thing in detail they are crooks and good at stealing your money for services not provided and paid for.  The service was horrific in a hot august month with the weather at 98 degrees out side and even hotter inside we had to tell them to turn on the air conditioner.  The appetizers ran out and were only enough for 50 guest and when confronted to put more out more they said we ran out.  The dinner was a joke they placed finger food on our plate no joke i have pictures which i will post of our wedding to show this later and add it to this post.  desert was advertised as french pastry and cake what we got was some store bought cookies which was a lie and the cake was not served until we had to ask them to do so.  When asked to bring water or soda to the tables they said they ran out, at this point i knew they were doing this on purpose.  They mad us look like fools in-front of our guest and ran out of dinner will only placing finger food on peoples plates.  How much is it for a bag of rice seriously these cheapskates are a joke i could have bought one for them my self out of all things to run low on.  They did not even place naan which is bread and cheated us out of that as well.  My guest thought they would have weddings their in the future but clearly they spelled it out cheap skates and no one should ever reserve this place, avoid a disaster don't ruin your special night.  Also the owner called me two weeks before my wedding threatened me to cancel if i did not accept their new menu which had less items and said to me i smelled trouble from day one how rude is that my god if he believes in one who would do some thing so tasteless.  No ethics here just pour treatment and good at cheating the customer.  Most of our family have chosen this place its far better and worth the drive A+ service for ever one of my family wedding their here is their link:
Spectacular service and they always call to make sure everything is okay and going well!

Pacific Hills was the BEST decision I made after saying "Yes" to my fiances proposal! I searched all over for a venue in orange county and even LA but nothing felt as right as the moment I walked in this beautiful venue. I had high hopes this would be our fit, and it definitely was. Meeting with Rod and Tanya I just knew we would be taken care of. I'm very detail oriented and all my stresses slowly disappeared the more we discussed packages and coordination etc. we even got to meet the chef and have a tasting, we were blown away!!! Our wedding dish looked like a million bucks and tasted amazing! Our guests complimented us all night on such an awesome wedding and it wouldn't have been possible without special attention to detail and professionalism from Rod and the Pacific Hills Staff!! Thank you so much, love, the newlyweds!

This place is FABULOUS!!! So we looked for a lot of other venues in Orange County and Los Angeles and Glendale and we decided that Pacific Hills in Laguna was the place for us to have our wedding! We were greeted by Rod and Tanya and each of them are the warmest personalities that you can imagine! They put all our wedding jitters to rest and made the whole wedding planning process so smooth! They understood our budget restrictions and really worked to meet our budgetary needs. Chef's food was fabulous! I don't remember ever tasting a better steak and the pesto stuffed chicken was unbelievable! It knocked our socks off! Their attention to detail, their precision in ensuring everything ran right was unbelievable... They went above and beyond our expectations, throwing things in at the end and surprising us with all sorts of things that we didn't expect on our wedding day! Me and my family waited until Chef came out of his kitchen so that we can personally thank him for such an incredible meal! The venue is incredibly beautiful! The Courtyard really makes for the best wedding pictures charming! The brides room is upgraded with marble and it's so beautiful; the bathrooms have marble and and glitz and the ballroom, in itself, is absolutely breathtaking! Once the ballroom doors opened and all my guests walked in, their breath was taken away and then when dinner was served their breath was taken away; it seemed we were all left breathless! The ballroom is really huge and it seats up to 600 people and it really accommodated my 400 guests... Nobody felt like sardines packed into the ballroom as they do in other venues. It was so spacious and well designed! I can't thank Pacific Hills, Rod, Tanya, Chef, and all the staff at Pacific Hills enough for making my wedding the most memorable event of my life!

If I had the opportunity to do it all again, Pacific Hills would be one of the choices I would happily repeat for my wedding. When my husband and I got engaged, the first thing we did was to visit and compare reception sites both in Orange County and Northern California. Pacific Hills will arrange every detail of your wedding if you so choose, from your ceremony, to food, to tables and chairs, tablecloths and napkins. My husband and I were heavily limited on our wedding by budget, and with David's help, we were able to create my dream wedding without having to compromise because of budget. One of the best features of Pacific Hills is customization! We used the platinum package, which basically gives you all of their services at a specific rate, including tables, chairs, basic drinks, tablecloths, napkins, silverware, glasses, china, the wedding cake, cheese and crackers, hors d'eourves, and wine on the tables. We went with the buffet with three entree choices, giving us a total of three salads, three entrees, two sides, and rolls. You aren't able to taste the food before the wedding due to the fact that Pacific Hills makes their own food in large quantities for events only, but I can give you a quick breakdown of what we liked and didn't like. The hors d'eourves were probably what we got the most praise for. We chose the mushroom salad on blinis and the beef wellingtons. There was a huge abundance of hors d'eourves, which I was surprised by, seeing as several weddings I've been to have skimped on hors d'eourves. The chicken breast with the champagne sauce was the biggest hit of the night. The roasted red potatoes were probably the worst, and given another choice I'd probably go with mashed potatoes instead. Onto the service and my personal experience. David was great and was very helpful throughout the entire process. Although we were a bit indecisive at first, David was always patient with us. David consistently worked with us to make our reception exactly what we wanted, even though we were on a budget. Our family makes their own wine, and with the platinum package David allowed us to replace the two bottles of wine on the table provided with two bottles of our own wine, and allowed us to stock the rest at the bar with no corkage fee. The other venue we considered, the Hacienda, wanted to charge us $1,200 in corkage for the same service! On our day, David was there from the moment we arrived til the moment we left, behind the scenes making sure everything ran smoothly. He made sure that my husband and I got to have some hors d'eourves and eat dinner (some brides and grooms are so busy they never get to eat!) Overall, we really enjoyed our wedding at Pacific Hills and would do it all again if we could!

First I'll write about my lovely experience as an attendee to a wedding at this location. Parking is plentiful, signage is quite small, but just note it's literally right next to the DMV. The lobby area is beautiful with tall ceilings and the inside dining area is spacious, nice temperature inside as most women are in dresses, and the food was tasty. Bathrooms were clean and well-lit with extra knick knacks you can borrow such as a sewing kit, lotion, and etc. right by the sink. The bar is a cute little "shack style" but not the most efficient when the line wrapped around to the lobby area. A corner right before entering the dining area is perfect spot for a photo booth. Overall, I had a grand time as an attendee. Now I'll be writing about the behind the scenes. I was not one of my friend's wedding coordinators, but I sat next to my friend, who was assisting with the details since the bride and groom were obviously busy. The manager came by to tell my friend that there wasn't enough food ordered so some tables didn't eat yet. Apparently the servers gave full dinner plates to children and they weren't suppose to because the number of attendees were finalized a long time ago. The groom said to just order more food and pay the difference because no one should be leaving hungry. However, the banquet manager said that they don't have any more supplies. Say what?! If you're expecting people to pay for additional food, then how do you not have any?! Eventually the cooks put together some chicken, but still charged the same price for what everyone else got, which was salmon and steak. There was another instance regarding the lobby display and how the manager accused my friend of misplacing the item... Anyway, this wasn't my battle, but I felt for the bride, groom, and my wedding coordinator friend who had to deal with the negative behind the scene situations. For those wanting to host an event here, be sure to get everything in writing prior to signing anything and bring the documents with you the day of the event.

We had out wedding here a couple of months ago and we could not of been more pleased with their service. We booked the venue based on their prices, the assistance that we received from their coordinator and their willingness to work with our budget. Everything was spectaular and they really went out of their way to make our night just perfect. Highly recommend them!
