Menu
Pacific Grill is Tacoma’s most Award-Winning restaurant. A stunning urban space, at home in any major city that is perfect for romance, great conversation and world-class food.

Chef/owner Gordon Naccarato—a former winner of Food & Wine’s coveted TOP TEN BEST NEW CHEFS in America—describes his food as fun dining-not fine dining with dishes perfect for sharing with a group of friends, entertaining business clients or celebrating your special occasion.

The menu is extensive and features everything from fresh shucked local oysters and raw Beef Carpaccio to delicious Tacos and locally smoked Steelhead and includes many Vegan and gluten-free options. For smaller appetites, many of the menu items such as Angry Pasta with Prawns or Classic Clam Linguine can be served as half-portions. Order a Chopped Wedge Salad and get the bone-in New York Steak all for yourself, or share tapas-style and try many appetizers like the famous BLT Salad with the world’s best bacon.

And don’t miss their Pastry Chef’s decadent desserts.  The Bar area is packed with guests enjoying Tacoma’s Best Happy Hour as voted by our guests—even beating out our restaurant friends to the north in Seattle. Located in the gorgeously restored historic Waddell Building in the heart of downtown.

4/7/15 - While the food was quite good my meal with a group of customers was ruined when I found a 1-1/2" coiled metal wire in my grilled scallops. The chef would not acknowledge it came from the kitchen. The waitress was extremely apologetic as we both agreed it looked like a wire from a flat-top cleaning pad. Our waitress was very kind and offered 2 free desserts. I was amazed that no one from management or the kitchen made any apology or even acknowledged the event. They left our poor waitress hung out to dry. She was a total class act, however I'll never recommend or return based upon how those in management completely mishandled the event.

Bradley, I am very sorry about your experience at Pacific Grill. Our General Manager was not in that day and she would like to talk to you about what happened. If you could email her at Carol@pacificgrilltacoma.com or call her at 253-627-3535 she would appreciate it. Thank you, Jacob Rose Pacific Grill

Great Surprise, we were in the area and used Google to find a local restaurant. All day happy hour in the bar had great small plates for me and my girl to share. Since we didn't have a specific type of food we wanted, it was great to have samples of all. The staff was really polite as well. I wish Seattle had one of these.

Delicious food and great service. Everyone in our party loved their food and the atmosphere of the place. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Seattle.

Menu used to be good now it's all extremely over priced appetizer style foods, most of which are not made fresh. I went here with my fiancé for nice dinner a while back and we were both very disappointed in the food and the service. There is way better dinning in Tacoma to be had for the prices they charge.

Steve, Thank you for your review. We are sorry you didn't enjoy the menu. I looked and we have more large entrees now then we did on the old menu format. Plus you get the choice of how you want to dine (large entrees, small plates, shared plates, etc). This format has proven very popular with our customers. All of our food is fresh and made daily with the highest quality ingredients.

I had the crab cake sliders off the happy hour menu, for what you pay at half price they are amazing. This price is very very pricey if your not ordering off the happy hour menu. The chips that came with the slides were tasty but rather dry. Service was great.

It was good food ..though at the time I went I couldn't order most of the menu because of allergies. I keep wondering why people list it as moderate pricing because my dinner wad holy crap on price.

Nice place. Happy hour falls short. Even though it's from 11am till late. Beers are still $6. One beer is $1 off. Bar food is half price. You'll need to order 2 things to get a full meal. So it still adds up to full price. You get 2 tiny angus sliders and fries for $6.50. Won't fill you up.

This recipe was provided by chef Jessica Armstrong Sewell, from Pacific Grill, during our recent Do Something Healthy event in Tacoma, Washington.

Jessica took her inspiration from everyone's favorite dish — fried rice — and substituted quinoa, a super food packed with nutrients and very high in fiber.
