Plants are intelligent. They have the same 5 senses as humans, plus 15 more. It's time we stop underestimating the incredible wisdom of the plants we share this planet with.
Plants are intelligent, argues scientist Stefano Mancuso. And it's time we start treating them accordingly

Jupiter is now passing through the constellation Leo, creating a powerful combination of energies. Leo encourages true self-expression, while Jupiter helps it to manifest. Today on the New Moon, we invite you to take time to renew your goals to be true to yourself, to fully express your own ideals, and to explore or expand your creative talent. Over the coming months, you will find great power speeding your commitments toward manifestation. ‪#‎NewMoon‬ #Jupiter

This our chance to be heroes. This is our chance to show our children how to be heroes. How will our generation and the next one be remembered? #ParentHood #Parents #Sustainability #ClimateJustice #SocialJustice #Sustainability
I watch my daughters as they grow. They are filled with boundless potential. What can I do to keep the Earth healthy for them and their own children?

It’s possible that children already practice mindfulness on their own. Have you ever seen a toddler pick up a handful of sand and stare as the grains flow through her tiny fingers? Here's 5 practices to support mindfulness throughout childhood and into adulthood. ‪#‎MindfulMondays‬
Mindfulness is proven to have significant health benefits. Children can learn mindfulness as early as 18 to 24 months old, or possibly even earlier.

The people of Ecuador care about the environment and that’s awesome! Wouldn’t it be great if Ecuador’s environmental policies regarding the rainforest reflected the people’s commitment to the planet? #Sustainability #Nature #GlobalWarming #Sustainable #Sustainability #ClimateChange #Reforestation #Activism #MotherEarth

Building critical mass to bring forth a sustainable, just and thriving world - starting with you!
Introduction
The Pachamama Alliance is a not-for-profit organization that was born out of a relationship between a group of people from the modern world and the leaders of remote indigenous groups in the Amazon region of Ecuador.

Our mission is to empower indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their lands and culture and, using insights gained from that work, to educate and inspire individuals everywhere to bring forth a thriving, just and sustainable world.

Our Work in the Amazon
Within indigenous communities, we support programs to promote maternal & family health, eco-tourism as an economic alternative to oil development, alternative energy sources such as solar, and fossil-fuel-free modes of transportation. We also support the safeguarding of the Amazon rainforest by providing legal assistance, promoting alternatives to fossil fuels and promoting the recognition of the rights the nature.

Changing the Dream of the Modern World
The other side of our work is to change the dream of the modern world – to create a shift in consciousness such that the protection of the rainforest is no longer necessary – as requested by our indigenous partners. In response, we created the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium and spread it throughout the world to over 78 countries and 221,000 people.

Now we are excited to introduce our community to Up to Us – a transformative pathway to social action that unleashes our power as global citizens to change the game. Up to Us builds on the international success of the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium by providing people a continued pathway of engagement to dive more deeply into the issues and possibilities presented in the Symposium.
