What do you do if you have a run-away best selling device that you can't keep on the shelf and you customers can't get enough of?

If you're Google... You discontinue it!!!

Who wouldn't jump at an updated 2015 version of this tablet with 64-128gb of ram and maybe an SD card slot as a bonus? Google/Asus would have a guaranteed instant hit.. But alas, I guess I just don't understand.

Google officially discontinues Nexus 7 tablet http://wp.me/pj722-1B3d
If you're in the market for an affordable, highly-rated, not-too-big-not-too-small tablet, your chances to buy the Nexus 7 are quickly running out. If you were

MEERKAT EASTER EGG!!!

Press and hold the little 'Meerkat' at the top of the screen for 5-8 seconds... When you let go, he'll turn to face the left and you'll be able to see ALL active streams - not just the ones from people you follow!!

Enjoy!!

Three men in New York City have been charged with conspiring to join ISIS...

You never know who your neighbors are!
By Joseph Ax NEW YORK (Reuters) - Three men were charged on Wednesday with conspiring to support Islamic State, including two who planned to travel to Syria to fight on behalf of the radical group, U.S. authorities said. One of the men, Akhror Saidakhmetov, 19, of Kazakhstan was arrested early on Wednesday at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, where authorities said he was attempting to board a flight to Turkey on his way to Syria...

This is nothing short of disgusting!! Clearly it's impossible to invent anything without paying someone who patented a concept they couldn't bring to fruition years earlier.
Seems that thanks to our dysfunctional legal system... There will be those who create-and pay those who merely patent the concept!!

And the "inventor" even admitted he didn't invent it.
Patent enforcers win in court, twice in two weeks. Will it matter for reform?

My iPhone doesn't seem to have this bug, but if true it should make anyone using apps that rely on mathematical results cautious at least.

Apple is amidst an enormous recall concerning with a bug with the calculator app. About a half of all generations of iPhone and iPod Touch have this newly discovered glitch.

The glitch occurs when 48.5 is subtracted from 9 in the calculator app. Strangely, Apple's answer to that is 0.

When I heard about this in a New York Times post, I arrogantly did not believe this. I stubbornly opened up the app on my iPhone 5 S, and inputted "97 - 48.5"... And the calculator responded with a big fat goose egg.

While anyone with this glitch can visit their nearest Apple store to get the glitch fixed, I became lazy and stayed at home making two blue logos (see previous post).

And that is why 97 - 48.5 = 0.

I wonder if he's pushing the 'equals' twice? 48.5 is half of 97. consecutive execution of 'equals' will continue to subtract 48.5 from the current result...

This amazing game turns an Chromecast into a "Wii-type" game!!

Soon you'll be playing tennis using your Android Wear watch as the controller (ie Hands free)!!!

Really innovative use of the technology!

This dentist is actually brilliant!

Copyright any negative comments a customer may make - before they make them!!
When a customer posted a negative review on Yelp.... The dentist requested a pull-down on the basis of copyright!!!
This one is a must-read!

If copyrighting your patients' reviews isn't crazy enough, the dentist is question is now MIA.
One problem: Dr. Stacy Makhnevich is nowhere to be found.

What more can be said? May as well cancel that gym membership....

Same head, different body. Unsurprisingly, the concept leaves many uncomfortable.
Surgeon Sergio Canavero will be embarking on a project to implement the world's first human head transplant.

This error has existed since before Kit Kat!! STILL NO FIX FROM GOOGLE!

Maybe a Google should get their house in order before they worry about reporting "bugs" in other vendors' code! (We all know who I'm referring to)

There must be thousands of posts on this error on the web... But not one word from Google on when they might fix it!

I realize Android is not their primary source of revenue, but I did pay actual money for my Nexus 5 & 7. It is beyond me to imagine why Google hasn't addresses this VERY common issue.
