We are so humbled to have won a Classy Award last night for our innovative SAPARM initiative. SAPARM offers Ethiopian pastoralists real-time, satellite-derived data maps on grazing conditions throughout the region, allowing herders to make timely, informed decisions on where to head next.

Thank you Classy for selecting us – out of 1,300 incredible nonprofits – as "remarkable changemakers of our generation"!

Arely is a 12-year-old girl who participates in PAISANO, our Guatemala food security program. She and other 10- to 15-year-olds in her town are being trained on how to become leaders so they can influence future decision making in their community. When asked what malnutrition is, Arely said "it's when we are not well fed and eat things that harm our health. We should eat healthy fruits and vegetables every day." She's well on her way to being a leader towards a healthier community!

GivingTuesday is a day when the world comes together to make this place a little brighter. Whether it's by volunteering, helping a neighbor, giving to charity, or saying thank you to someone who has impacted your life, there are many ways to make a difference. Here at PCI, we're asking our community to help us continue our transformational work around the globe. You can be part of making a difference by donating to us tomorrow in honor of #GivingTuesday. Together, we can continue to work towards a world without extreme poverty: https://goo.gl/EYRbE7.
