Chief foreign correspondent Margaret Warner offers background on possible diplomatic steps for the U.S. on the #Crimea crisis, then Judy Woodruff talks to John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago and Amy Knight, author of "How the Cold War Began," about how far the U.S. is prepared to push #Russia out of #Ukraine and who is to blame for the conflict.
Russia has no problem if Ukraine increases economic co-operation with the Western Europe. What worries Russia most is Ukraine to join the NATO. And the situation would get very complicated. Ukraine will be a NATO member, NATO would install its military base and Russian Navy will not give up its Black Sea Fleet in Crimea Region. That's the definition on how to start a Cold War. On the other hand, the Black Sea Fleet has always been historic naval base for the Russian Navy.
