Great place. Clean rooms, centrally located, and free evening reception with drinks and appetizers. Decent hot breakfast and a friendly staff.

This place is a very nice affordable place for stay with Family. They have the little details taken care of. Very convenient for a family stay. If you expectations are proportionate to the price you paid, this is the best value hotel I have seen out there. This hotel has all the little details taken care of, and that is what our family really liked about it. We stayed for 2 nights (first we only reserved 1 night, then extended, since we werent sure how this hotel would turn out). The hotel on the outside looks older and was concerning as we drove it. We saw the Holiday Inn, the Red Lion hotel..etc looking better. However the staff was excellent. The little details were above and beyond our expectation. we thought we had to go find dinner the night we drove in. But no. They had a very nice soup and a (small) salad bar. We didnt have to go anywhere for dinner. Again if you are hungry this wont cut it, but we were good with it, since the soup was great. The room had two TV's. Helpful for family with kids. The room was big enough for 4. They had a very nice little facility to rent out DVD's for $1. That blew us away. We saw 3 movies in the 2 nights we were there. This was awesome. They had milk available throughout the day in their dining area. Very helpful. we microwaved it, and kids liked the hot cocoa (mixed with milk) available throughout the day. In the morning we missed breakfast timing each day (we rose late, because we wanted to). Yet, they were kind enough to let us have oatmeal, with milk. On the second day they even brought bagels out for us to enjoy (after breakfast was fully done, and they cleaned out everything). I have stayed at 5 stars hotels around the globe, where they wouldnt go this far. The hotel staff were all genuinely helpful and patient with you. They are all seemed like nice people. They let us borrow the trolley for our luggage to be moved up stairs. (lot of places would fuss for that). Overall great experience, and Highly recommend. Although we didnt use it, the outside swimming pool was heated, and has a jaccuzi. Cons: The rooms/carpets are older relatively speaking. But for the price we paid, we didnt mind it. the bathroom door is hard to lock. Otherwise everything was great. Highly recommend it.

On our trip from LA to Portland, this is a great half way spot to stay overnight. We were highly impressed with the amenities offered, the great restaurants near by, and overall experience. The weekend we stayed just happened to be Big Biker Weekend, with tons of harley motorbikes every where. The hotel staff was very curteous to put us in the back of the hotel and we couldn't even hear the comotiin across the street. This ended up being a very positive experience in what we thought was going to be a noisy night! We need more hotels like this across the country!

This place is amazing. For the price you pay, you get more that what the price is worth. Totally recommend it. They have everything you need to if you're going to be staying for a couple of days.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable (but no carpet). The room was huge! It was a double queen with a t.v. in one room, and there was another room with another t.v., sofa, and coffee table. The bathroom was large, and they included shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in large bottles attached to the wall (so you could actually have more than two or three showers out of the little bottles they normally provide). It was a well lit building. The staff was very polite and the maids respected the "Do Not Disturb" sign. The checkout was at noon, which was very generous. The breakfast was free and tasty (although you must use coupons for the main entree, which I'll go into more detail later). You can have as much toast, cereal, coffee, milk, and juice as you want. They have free wifi and do accept pets (but with a fee). They have a pool (which I was not able to take advantage of), a fitness center (which was quite small; less than 10 pieces of equipment), and a little store inside the hotel (you can rent movies and get snacks, but you have to pay for all of it). They offer evening cocktails (but we came too late for that). They have laundry (but you have to pay for it). Now we come to the more negative part of the review. The price was fairly expensive (for what I got), it was $150 (not including tax). Then they had breakfast coupons. Each person was allowed one serving of hashbrowns, eggs, and sausage. Now I completely understand why you would limit the amount of food people have, but I thought that it was tacky to do that considering the price of the room. The ice machine was enormously loud. The parking lot was small and cramped. They share part of it with the Comfort Inn next door, so it had almost no space. It was not well lit, and was fairly creepy at night. The parking lot was so full when I came in that I had to park in the back lot (my children were a little scared). The key cards are outdated and still use an old system. It wasn't bad, and at least it was not a key system! There is a non-refundable fee of $25 per pet (however, we didn't get charged- no idea why). I think that this was a comfortable and clean hotel, and it was quite nice, but I'm not sure that I would come back again. There were small things that bothered me, and that made my stay sufficient, but not thrilling. I'm am not unhappy with this hotel, but I wasn't WOWed; I've traveled to places that cost the same and had more amenities. For some reason, the over $150 price tag is slightly dissuading.

Checked in on a Saturday, free drinks and snacks in the evening, and breakfast in the morning. When we got there a couple were stuck in the elevator, but the maintenance guy came over right away and reset the elevator. We were so confident in the response that we rode the elevator right after that (with the people that were stuck) to the top floor. The room is pretty cool. I like suites. It is nice to sit on a couch, and plenty of room for my wife and I and our three little girls to play.

I stayed here in mid August 2011 with an Episcopal Church event and everything went very well. The rooms were immaculate, the flat screen TV worked well, used the WI-FI to work on my book and check was no hassle. I will stay there next time I am in Redding too!
