IP ISSUES

This is an open source competition. This means all the designs submitted will be available online for distribution and non-commercial reuse. For commercial reuse, please modify the original designs.

POSTING GUIDELINES

If it’s a difficulty
 - post it under the "Daily Difficulties" tag
 - I think the difficulty may be solved by a mechanical or physical assistive technology solution (including aesthetics)
 - 100 word limit
 - we encourage you to add pictures or a video to illustrate the difficulty. This will greatly help people understand your problem

If it’s an idea
 - post it under the "Problem-Solving AT Ideas" tag
 - My idea is physical (including aesthetic designs)
 - I have thoroughly researched my idea to make sure it does not already exist
 - 100 word limit
 - add pictures or a video to illustrate the idea

If you have any question
 - post it under the "Ask A Question" tag. One of our committee members will answer your questions shortly

HOW IT WORKS

PHASE I
If you are familiar with disability and accessibility issues, submit a post about a daily difficulty you are facing or a problem-solving design idea (read "POSTING GUIDELINES"). Potential designers can then link up with you, and work out a design solution.

PHASE II
If you intend to enter the design competition, browse through the challenges and ideas posted, choose a case that you like to work on. You are encouraged to comment. However, to avoid confusion, please refrain from posting.
