Men - you want to lose weight, don't date.

When a man was paired with a woman at an Italian buffet that said man was likely to eat almost twice as much food than he usually would.
When it comes to scientific studies about the differences between the sexes, very little fertile ground has been left unturned. A new study from Cornell University proves this point, as they studied the [...]

This article does an excellent job describing what we all are seeing—men are being left behind.
We need to be careful not to think that an “androgynous world” is the solution. As men, we certainly need to expand our education and our model of work. We all need a level playing field and at times we might also need a little support to get started. But equality is not androgyny.
We don’t need to make man and women or all their roles being the same. When we create uniformity of gender, we remove the uniqueness of each sex. We remove the polarity that attracts one sex to the other.
When men are supported through a deep brotherhood, we step up as men who embody many of the traits men need to succeed while supporting women and the family. Let’s not confine men to an androgynous model of masculinity. Back us to support ourselves as men.
Women have learned to become more like men. Now men need to learn to become more like women.

Is your rebelling sabotaging your relationships? It was for me.
As a kid, I fought. I fought my parents, teachers and friends. I pushed against whatever felt restrictive. I often lost, but that didn’t stop me from opposing what I felt was unfair. As a teenager,…

Practice does pay off. After months of practicing my TEDx speech, I gave it yesterday. Speaking to a sold-out audience at TEDx Spokane was a thrill. In two weeks, the videos will be released. That will be another deep breath.
It was an honor to work with all the people who made this TEDx event a success. My hope is the video will catalyze a new model for Masculine Emotional Intelligence.
Thank for all the support I got from my friends and men’s group members. And a special thanks for everyone who drove to Spokane from Sandpoint to attend TEDx and see me present.

The problem with men is not men... it's the model we were taught. It's a model that limits both men and women.

The days of privilege are ending for us white males. For thousands of years, we held power. With power came obvious advantages. As the ‘less privilege’ assume their rightful place we are beginning to see the downsides of what we were told was a benefit. Beyond being the grunts of wars and hard labor, we are now learning that our death rates are rising whiles others are dropping.

Rates are going up because of how we are choosing to deal with our economic and social change. We are manning up by reaching for drugs, alcohol and isolation. The old belief that we can do it alone is also being challenged.

If we are to turn this around, we need to go in the opposite direction. We need use brotherhood so support ourselves.

It's strange how we still joke about 'men's issues.' What will it take for men to get the respect--compassion we give women around our struggles?
More men commit suicide, get cancer, or are the victims of violent crime than women, so why was an MP laughed at for suggesting men's rights should be the topic of parliamentary debate, asks Glen Poole

Even though women are more politically active, they give less.
A new analysis finds that only about 30 percent of large donors to political campaigns are women, a figure that has remained relatively steady since the late 1980s.

Men often die a slow, lonely death. Most men have nothing close to brotherhood.
Each year around 50,000 people die in New York, some alone and unseen. Yet death even in such forlorn form can cause a surprising amount of activity. Sometimes, along the way, a life’s secrets are revealed.

Discovering how to be a Freeman… stumbling towards Remarkable –

Business owner, blogger, Rolfer, men’s group developer, skier and connoisseur of nature. I like helping others create what they thought impossible, be a body that works or a life that is Remarkable - through combining innovative techniques and the caring of an old friend.

We live in a time where so much of our interaction is virtual, fast and not personal – we need real interactions. Through developing a micro-community you give yourself what our ancestors had in their tribes, friends that support you beyond your limitations. I teach men and women how to create groups that are intimate communities of sponsorship.

I blog for men and the women who love them at: As men we aren’t bad or broken – we never were taught what we needed to learn to be the men we want to be.We were never taught the traits of Masculine Emotional Intelligence.

My passion for men winning as men created Free to Win, a training company for men. We help men get back what it means to be a man – a man that gets to just show up as himself. Our nonprofit, Men Corps give men all they need to start their own free micro-community or men’s group. The documentary fill About Men explores the Sandpoint Men’s Group’s unique model of men’s groups.

Free2Win is not your usual personal growth development plan. It is not a place for you to embrace your feminine side, learn how to emote like a woman, or find peace in the banality of today's suburbia living. Free2Win is a program, and a community, and it is indeed for men. It is where men come to learn how to be free, and to learn that being free is the first step to succeeding: To winning at the life YOU want to create for yourself.
