Dear friends, I need to tailor a couple of shirts so I decide to buy a sewing machine. Unfortunately, I don't know what to look for. There are some machines that are very cheap (or portable) and some others very, very expensive (industrial). What factors should I look for when I buy one? mainly so I don't ruin the shirts (not because there are expensive but because I have to go to work in them). Thanks in advance.
I have recently looked at a few industrial machines a friends father is selling....they are great for more heavy duty stuff, like leathers, upholstery, etc but for just regular clothing, I'd go with a more basic standard machine. They can get pricey too but you can get a great machine for as little as $200 and you can do a lot of shirts!
I like to think of myself as a "World-Citizen" with no real attachments to the rigidities and bias of life: Nationalities, race, religion, politics, relationships, cultural dogmas and social doctrines, Such prejudices and tight structure (without concious analyses) would hinder any attempt of better uniting the world that we so believe is getting connected.
