Media companies, I am available to write the comic book sequel to Monster Squad at a moment's notice. Just saying.
"The Lost Boys" to Receive Sequel in New Comic Series from Vertigo - Joel Schumacher's classic '80s vampire flick will see new life as a Vertigo comic series from Tim Seeley, Scott Godlewski and Patricia Mulvihill.

Uninvited (1988) is a movie about a mutated cat with another, smaller cat puppet that lives in its mouth and comes out to kill people, and it's available to watch for free on Amazon Prime! If you're anything like me, that's all you need to know, and my telling you that it's a Greydon Clark film and has almost no redeeming qualities won't change your resolve to go watch it right away one whit.

Don't want to buy one? That's okay, there's still a cou

"Grey is deft with his application of the second-person narrative, and the piece evoked a lot of nostalgia for old D&D modules."

I've not been having a great week, so I went to see The Shallows...
I wouldn’t normally go see a survival picture about a shark in theatres, but I love Jaume Collet-Serra and I’ve been having a shitty week, so I needed something nice to do for myself. C…

Now that's a trailer! If Jaume Collet-Serra returning to horror wasn't enough to sell me on The Shallows, this trailer would have done it...

I do regular freelance work for +The Lineup. This is probably the weirdest thing I've ever written about for them...
On a hill in Brazil were the bodies of two well-dressed men with homemade lead masks draped over their eyes. What is the truth behind the Lead Masks Case?

Orrin Grey is a skeleton who likes monsters. When asked, he claims to mostly write oubliettes.
Introduction
I'm a writer, editor, amateur film scholar, and monster expert. My first collection of supernatural stories, Never Bet the Devil & Other Warnings was released by Evileye Books in 2012. I also co-edited Fungi, an anthology of fungus-themed stories for Innsmouth Free Press, where I also write a regular column on vintage horror cinema. I'm a big, big fan of Mike Mignola, and I'll talk about him a lot around here. The rest of the time, I'll probably be talking about monster movies.

As far as circling goes, feel free to circle me. Almost everything I post is public. If I don't circle you back right away, don't feel bad. I don't always keep up with that as well as I'd like, and sometimes people get lost in the shuffle. Just drop me a comment and introduce yourself or something.

John Langan once called me "the monster guy."

I just bought a pre-owned Saturn Aura from Dominic at Bud Brown Volkswagen and I love the car, and the whole experience was a real pleasure. Dominic and everyone else at Bud Brown were friendly, helpful, and no-pressure and they got us in and out with the minimum amount of fuss. I've had some bad experiences buying cars in the past, but I would definitely go back to Bud Brown the next time I need to buy a car.
