Spent the morning on Nougat GApps, small update of current state:
Tomorrow there will be 7.0 builds on http://opengapps.org
Almost everything is in place, only HotWord Enrollment is not de-odexable yet.
But it should be ok and ready for when the first source and custom ROMs will drop.Of course it will still beta-quality because they cannot be tested yet, so be careful.

There are some minor changes to the structure, Google changed their keyboard stuff, so there will be no swypelibs possible anymore.
Google VR Services is backported to all packages (so all the way from 4.4 to 6.0) but ofc not yet known how well it will work.
Also there are some new 7.0 core apps for Google's Shared Android Services (com.google.android.ext.shared; com.google.android.ext.services)
Trusted Face's unlock has also some major changes, it seems the pittpatt suff is not necessary anymore for 7.0.
OpenGApps.org offers information and pre-built packages of The Open GApps Project. The Open GApps Project is an open-source effort to script the automatic generation of up-to-date Google Apps packages. All Android versions and platforms supported.

Regarding the swypelibs, is that only applicable to 7.0, or will we no longer get them for 4.4-6.0 too?

+Daniel Marsee that only applies to 7.0
For all older releases we still use the libs made for that specific Android version.
