Well, maybe both of use are attributing some false equivalency to everyone's words. :)
On one hand, Oliver wasn't wrong that its the future of music. This avenue of looping is continually expanding into most other areas of electronic composition. There are going to be some really brilliant things happening with technology like this. but its not technically accurate if you take his statement literally to mean this is the all inclusive highway connecting us to all future music production, yeah that wouldn't be accurate.
I took your thoughts of the completely true statement that looping has been around a long time, to mean that you thought this was nothing special.
I didn't mean for a disagreement essentially around perceived meanings.
I think we all can agree that this is great for what it is, and that we are going to see a lot of it in the future.
