Many of you who follow my Tweets will have seen me openly saying that I need to do some shadow work with regards to my feelings on religion, specifically Christianity. I have zero issues with other organised religions, but Christianity makes me angry (FYI: I use the word ‘angry’ a lot in this post), it [...]

This week we’ve been spending a lot of time in the garden. The weather has been beautiful which has been wonderful, although I did get a touch of sunburn on my neck and shoulders the other day! Oops! Despite that I’ve been really enjoying the weather, I much prefer sunshine and warmth to the chilly, [...]

I had a little word vomit about #weightloss over on the blog
I didn’t post about my weight loss last week. I wasn’t going to this week. It’s 10pm on Monday night, the day I usually post my weight loss posts and I’ve sat myself down and am making myself vomit words onto the screen. Honestly, I have lost the will to blog, I’m struggling with what [...]

Introduction

I'm a tea drinking, chocolate munching, social networking writer.I'm battling various mental health issues, namely anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and depression, and now write to bring attention to the reality of mental illness and help others through similar problems.

I'm a British expat, currently living in France and travelling to Spain for those chilly winter months.

In my spare time I'm a bit of a geek, enjoy reading and social networking. I have recently taken up photography and am really enjoying developing this new skill and takes my Canon EOS 1000D everywhere.

Very opinionated and strong willed and yet also old fashioned with a desire to go back to the 1950s, ultimately from life I want the white picket fence in the suburbs; the Disney fairytale.

“Mad Stewart and Rupert Bear have holidayed in various ‘pensions’ over the years and we find that their time spent holidaying with Stephanie at Les Creature Comforts the most agreeable. Her individual care was reflected when, while we were in the UK, she rang for reassurance that I was aware of the cyst on Stew’s back. Her empathy for the animals in her care is evident within 5 minutes of meeting her.”
