This was yet another year of me being the main photographer at the HPI sleepout. The event is an annual fundraiser for local organizations that provide services for the homeless and those in need. Youth sleepout overnight in December in cardboard boxes and go through poverty simulations. Its an event thats grown over the years I've been involved.

The Rail

No one was at this skateboard park as it was a rainy day, so I took some pictures of the various elements of the park. In this case I may have gone a bit too far with the shallow depth of field.

Lights Above Winter Park, Colorado

Cooper Creek Square in the town of Winter Park seems to be a place with a nice set of overhead lights. I'm sure that this square looks quite nice at night with the lights on. I might have done more composition wise if I were using my DSLR, but the limitations of my phone did make me think about photography in different ways. It ended up being a good exercise.

Snowshoeing View, Winter Park, Colorado

This is a picture of our snowshoeing guide looking out over the base of the Winter Park ski area from the trail. I did what I could with my phone camera, along the trail but ended up with a few photos that I liked.
