5 Steps to Content Marketing Success

Great post by +Paddy Moogan​ via +Moz​ on the 5 step process that he uses to get to content marketing success.

There are other content marketing process posts out there but we felt that this was pretty in-depth. Even if you don't use the exact process and have your own --  there is something for everyone here.

There are five broad steps in the process:

1) Research and idea generation
2) Idea validation
3) Production
4) Promotion
5) Conversion

Paddy mentions that successful content marketing focuses on these 3 things:

1) The Story
2) The Data
3) The Production

Note: Purposely left out of the list ... the audience. Don't forget that an audience to your competitor may not be the same as an audience to you. Things scale differently.
