Nice website

It's dedicated to title sequences for movies, shows, video games, etc. Many titles have articles explaining the idea behind them and how they were created.
Here are couple I liked:

Bristol photography scale.

I've decided to write down the scale that eventually crystallized in my mind after critiquing hundreds upon hundreds of photographs. It's more of a personal reference, but anyone is welcome to use it.

0 - My eyes! I'm going blind!
1 - Fugly.
2 - Meh.
3 - Booooring.
4 - Okay. Applies to über-cliché.
5 - Has a potential, but needs reprocessing.
6 - Decent, but could use some improvements.
7 - Surprisingly nice! (It may not look like much at first, but then you see goodness in there.)
8 - Very good! (Good enough to hang on the wall...somewhere)
9 - Awesome! (I'd buy the print)
10 - O M F G! (I'm buying limited edition signed print and nothing will stop me!)

Good find

I think this show is the best thing that happened on TV for quite some time from photographer's perspective. The premise is simple: Louisiana in 1990s, serial killer and 2 detectives. Judging by description it's not something I'd watch, but when I saw the first episode, it was awesome.
I love the intro sequence and here is a link to the article how it was created: http://www.artofthetitle.com/title/true-detective/ Check the presentation, it's very interesting.
Overall show is slow paced, almost meditative, very good camera work, desaturated colors, everything is thought through and stylish. It looks very authentic and honest, and for some reason reminds me Jim Jarmusch movies.
I'd highly recommend to try it and see if it works for you.
