Jim and Katie are amazing people who provide amazing hospitality! My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and it was a great break from the everyday stress of our everyday lives. We were unplugged from the world and enjoyed the porch swing, full kitchen, and rustic atmosphere of the prairie like cabin. Breakfast is provided every morning by Katie it is down home deliciousness! You will feel like part of the family every night you stay there!

Overall--Great value and super dog friendly We have stayed here three summers in row and love it more every time. The cabins are a great value at under $90 a night. The ones I have stayed in are all two bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathroom. We also enjoy the outdoor fire place by the lake. We enjoyed walking the grounds, picking dinner from the gardens, and catch fish in the pond (grill provided) Dog people this place is for you...Dogs are more then welcome and they have the run of the place. We have two large breed dog who love to run with the owner well behavior pack and swim in the lake.
