My favorite bar, Hokulea at the JW Marriott, Ihilani changed their menu but they still offer their Coconut Gelato with Hot Fudge Sauce! That combined with a glass of their "house" cabernet and the friendly staff makes for a very nice evening.

Aloha Everyone,
Larry with Ola Properties. We're a small company providing Vacation Rentals on the island of Oahu.  It seems we have a whole team of people getting "Likes" on FB, but since I like Google in general, I've decided to learn about Google+.  I've  already found many interesting bits of information here in this community. I look forward to learning more and sharing what I can.

My favorite view while walking the Ko Olina Lagoons.  This from the turn at Lagoon 4, looking toward the Waianae Mountain Range.

Sunset at Ko Olina's "Hidden Beach". One of those little gems that is mostly undiscovered by tourists.

It seems they snuck another restaurant into Ko Olina while weren't watching. The Pizza Corner, traditional NY Style Pizza opened three weeks ago. We stopped in and watched Dave do the whole "hand tossed" dough thing while we ordered their Slice & Drink for $5.00 special. We had the Hawaiian style pizza with Canadian Bacon & pineapple. It was quite good! We capped off lunch with a Ko Olina Cannoli.

Dinner at Thai Kitchen..... Our Favorite place for Thai food.

In light of the economic downturn we've experienced over the past few years, I found a recent article in Pacific Business News very interesting. Rather than debating whether there will be enough consumers for all the housing on Oahu, the experts in the article were discussing almost the exact opposite: whether or not there would be enough housing in Kakaako to meet the demand in the next few years. There are nearly 4,000 new condominiums planned for the area in the next few years. It seems some are now calling Kakaako the "Third City".

The link to the PBN article is below.
