I would give this place zero, but there are no options for that. After being to many hotels from all around, my boyfriend and I decided to venture to Maine and sight see. It being such a small town, youd think the staff and management would be a little nicer and more understanding. A two hour drive to get there, we arrive and were a disappointed as the place stated it had a "kitchenette" .. There was no stove, so the 50$ we spent on our Valentines Day Dinner could not be made. We always try to make the best of situations and decided to go out to eat. Sadly , not much open .. That morning I woke up at 4 am very sick with a stomach bug ( way to ruin a vacation!) Being up all night and not feeling so well decided to stay in an enjoy eachothers company. The guests above us had children and they were literally stomping on the ground running back and fourth for about 2 hours before we called the office to complain. This was supposed to be a couples suite and there are children above?? The office had nothing nice to say and basically said to deal with it. After another hour went by, called again and told them we would like a refund, I was sick and didn't want to deal with it. The lady said her manager could do that and to come to the offce. When I got to the office she said her manager wasn't there and to email her? What kind of place is this were thinking? So we email her and nothing back.. Called the card they gave us with the number on it , and it wasn't her,, it was the office! So ov they must deal with this a lot of they wont give out her number... What business runs a place with no manager.?? What if an emergency happened? Long story short, we ended up having to stay another night being told there was nothing they could do and it was too late for a refund. Well, too bad we thought.. Just wont come here again.. Two days later, my boyfriends bank account had 100$ taken out for there being a stain on the sheet the size of a quarter from being sick!! They told us we caused damages to the place and the sheets couldn't be salvaged!! Now in my eyes, an email with an apology- "The customer is always right"... not and email saying that it wasn't noisy and they were settling in.. Because she would know because she was underneath right?? This place is a joke and I cant believe management would be so ridiculous to take an UNAUTHORIZED payment out of my bank account!! No where did I sign that said anything about f there were damages they would take money out. Only did I read, if there were missing items youd be charged. I am calling better business burueau. HORRIBLE PLACE

2 couple walk-in found a 2 bedroom suite for 2 nites in season at reasonable rate - great location, helpful staff, clean spacious room, nice shower, beds could be better, but no complaints.

Katie at the front desk was so patient & accomodating letting us see what the different rooms were like before picking one to stay in. They even blocked out the room for another day after we said we might want to stay on longer. Ashley who cleaned our room was very accomodating also making sure we didn't run out of towels & toiletries. Wish they had bagels on their continental breakfast, but all around a great stay that was memorable, pleasant, and affordable. We will be staying there again in the future as we fell in love with Maine!
