Tom began writing and performing music at around the age of 12 after teaching himself the guitar. By the age of 15, Tom had already opened a concert for music legend Jools Holland in front of 5000+ people. Earlier that same year, he had also featured on BBC Radio 1′s ‘Introducing’ with Nick Grimshaw and Annie Mac where his original music was played out to millions of listeners.
He continued to write and perform throughout secondary school and college. At the age of 17 Tom released his debut self-written EP ‘Decisions’. A couple months on, he also got the chance to open for Joe Brooks in his hometown to a jam-packed sold out Southampton crowd as part of the Joe Brooks World Tour 2012.
Moving onward and upwards in 2013, Tom then to self-wrote and released his second EP ‘The World Goes Around EP’. This year also saw Tom feature on ITV’s hit TV show The X Factor in it’s tenth series since first airing. Despite narrowly missing out on a spot at the ‘judges houses’, Tom has since gone on to gig across the UK supporting acts such as Misha B, Rylan Clark and The Vamps. On top of that, he also released a duet Christmas single which attained radio play across the UK as well as playing out on Sky TV Music channels (The Vault, Bliss, Chart Show) throughout December. Tom Mann ended the year by embarking on his first UK Tour as a support act for Lil’ Chris. Tom was also voted Best Breakthrough Act 2014 by Celebritain- ahead of acts such as Tamera Foster and Sam Callahan.
Tom is now working towards bigger & better things for the year of 2014, including plans to release his full debut solo single as well as piecing together a debut album.
