Version 2 of NYC Health Ratings for android users is out! The main changes are an improved user interface. Check it out!

Hey guys it's been a while since I've posted. Our twitter bot now responds to your health ratings inquiries. Simply send a tweet to @nyhealthratings of the form "@nyhealthratings What are the health ratings for $RESTAURANT_NAME in $LOCATION_OR_ADDRESS"
Where $RESTAURANT_NAME is the restaurant and $LOCATION_OR_ADDRESS is a neighborhood and or zipcode or a complete address. "health ratings for" and "in" are required in your tweet. There may be some issues with Twitters rate limiting of requests but try it and tell me how it goes.

Hey guys I'm super proud and excited to announce the latest feature at nychealthratings.com. The browse by borough page now has graphs that give four month trends by borough and the city as a whole. We're now tracking grade breakdown, average score per inspection and average critical violations per inspection. Scores and critical violations are further broken down by borough. The data/stats nerds out there will love this. I have the data to break this down by cuisine type and neighborhood as well, so you should be seeing more stats when I figure out how I want to present it.
To see the page go to => http://www.nychealthratings.com/nycrestapp/browse
If you have any suggestions for what you would like to see stats wise please tell me.

Hey everyone,

I'd like to bring some attention to the simplest tool we have on nychealthratings.com. The ability to browse and filter restaurants by neighborhood.
Here are links to the five boroughs. Find your borough of choice and select your neighborhood.
Manhattan: http://nychealthratings.com/nycrestapp/browse/1
The Bronx: http://nychealthratings.com/nycrestapp/browse/2
Brooklyn: http://nychealthratings.com/nycrestapp/browse/3
Queens: http://nychealthratings.com/nycrestapp/browse/4
Staten Island: http://nychealthratings.com/nycrestapp/browse/5
You can filter by restaurant type and grade.
